Bought a postcard of this while traveling and already sent it out so did not get to scan the image, but found it online: Oskar Kokoschka’s Tigerkatze (1969). I hope the recipient will like it as much as I do. Should have bought one for myself too! Oh well…

I know this will only rlly matter to maybe two people who know and love my main oc, Ronnie, but I need y'all to know that as of last night, I’ve decided that she needed a dog and thus she got one from her husband on their wedding anniversary a few years ago.

said dog a cairn terrier named Fozzie and hes basically like her youngest child in how much hes spoiled except hes not human

the thing is I am pro-rpf on principle, but I do think you should keep it away from the actual people you're shipping. but it is NOT out of concern for their comfort (insert pete wentz bank account post), it's for the same reason that like animal behaviorists and field biologists and such try to stay out of view when they're observing animals in the wild. don't tip them off it's gonna to skew the results of my study.

I think a lot of my followers are 25+ so I wanna see something.

“Mid-twenties effect” is defined here as like, your moods and mental health leveling out and somewhat stabilizing. Not mental illness disappearing but a general decrease in mood turbulence and that feeling that everything is the end of the world mostly disappearing. And this usually happening around age 25 though anywhere like 24-27 would also count it you had to place an exact time where it “flipped”.

Did you experience the “mid-twenties effect”?

Yes

No, I am 28+ and this has not happened at all as of now

No, but I’m in the 24-27 range so there is still time

Yes, but this happened later in life for me than 24-27 (tell me in the notes)

what i'm begging people to understand is that a huge portion of evangelical/christians in usamerica do not genuinely and earnestly believe in their holy texts or core doctrines. for them, religion is a means to uphold white supremacy and patriarchy and they've convinced themselves it's their divine prerogative. that is what they believe. you can plead with them to "be christlike" or point out their hypocrisy until the second coming. they do not care. you can't reason with them because they are not interested in piety or morality they are interested in power and control

they're using christianity as a coat of paint for their own home-brewed religion

(being a fascist)

The fact that the church of our country, (with fractional exceptions,) does not esteem "the Fugitive Slave Law" as a declaration of war against religious liberty, implies that that church regards religion simply as a form of worship, an empty ceremony, and not a vital principle, requiring active benevolence, justice, love and good will towards man. It esteems sacrifice above mercy; psalm-singing above right doing; solemn meetings above practical righteousness. A worship that can be conducted by persons who refuse to give shelter to the houseless, to give bread to the hungry, clothing to the naked, and who enjoin obedience to a law forbidding these acts of mercy, is a curse, not a blessing to mankind. The Bible addresses all such persons as "scribes, pharisees, hypocrites, who pay tithe of mint, anise, and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy and faith."

Frederick Douglass, "What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?"

It's not a new phenomenon, it's been the same from the very beginning of the American imperialist project

I am pro abort that thang but also pro don’t have kids if you’re second guessing it/your choice of partner. Pro ‘it is your choice BUTTTTT maybe second guess bringing a child into this situation’. I’m not an antinatalist but there are so many people in this world who are bad and/or regretful parents and not being pressured to have kids/keep an accidental pregnancy would have saved them and their child so much trouble. It is always better to regret not having kids than to bring another person into this world and regret doing it, making it not only your problem but also your kid’s problem. Also, do not have kids to give you ‘motivation in life’ or to fix a bad relationship, it will not work.
