#sigh. #used to be rlly on PH and XH until the laws changed in my state where you need id to see those sites #then i went to reddit #but now i just watch clips on the site the reddit 'gifs' are hosted #cause reddit is fucking exhausting #also hate what a cesspool twitter turned out cause they had good porn too

want to start listening to podcasts again but then I remembered why I stopped listening in the first place, because so many of the hosts are out of touch + aren’t talking about shit I’m remotely interested in anymore OR if they are they end up doing it in a way that irritates me 🫥

#medazzas personal log #like i enjoy listening to ppl talk about movies #but if i have to endure more LA/pretentious types talking about movies again I'll explode smth w my mind xmen style #i dont even touch music pods anymore cause i dont actually care abt other ppls music opinions like that anymore period #and no other genre remotely interests me soooooo #sigh. #ive gotten more mileage watching movie stats videos on YouTube but theres not rlly a podcast that fills that niche that i know of

kinda actually really sucks shit when all i wanna write is stuff i know geniunely no one except myself will gladly read (and i know this because ive published similar to basically crickets), and the other ideas i do get from talking with friends is stuff i can’t write for one reason or another. like i want to write but i don’t find any joy in writing for just myself. i have to write for others but generally besides like a brief couple yrs when i was in highschool, i haven’t written much that more than a few people wanna read. ive faced more rejection than i can realistically bear atp.

#medazzas personal log #still thinking over and over again abt the times when id want to share my childhood writings w my mom #and she didn't want to read or hear them #and by the time i was seriously writing fanfiction id only let my sister read them for spellcheck purposes #but only because she felt compelled to more than any actual interest in what i wrote #ppl irl knew i wrote but very few actually GAVE A SHIT about it #sigh. #i just feel so creatively starving but also everything i do no one wants to see so like. why even bother ya know? #i eke enough out with silly photoedits and memes but i wish i could do more #i also wish my drawing was consistently any good but thats neither here nor there anymore
