Yes Holo raised their price, but after a good thought, they are still more cost effective than hiring a graphic designer who may not even produce such impeccable quality and quantity!!

they took away 90% of credits from existing, paid customers overnight. Without notice, we were able to make 1500 images / month and they immediately slashed it to 100 images / month. Who makes only 100 images per month and needs such a tool?

I have consistently told people that Holo is the best AI tool on the market. But the switch to the credit system is highway robbery. I paid for a year of the program. I should get what I paid for … 80 credits every day.

I purchased a yearly subscription after being heavily influenced by advertising that promoted reasonable pricing and practical generation limits. At the time of subscribing, the platform allowed approximately 80 images per day, which made it viable for professional creative workflows.
Without meaningful advance notice or transparent explanation, my account was moved to a credit-based system. This change reduced my usable generation volume from thousands of images per month to roughly 100 per month — a drastic and material downgrade that fundamentally alters the value of the service I paid for.
This is not a minor adjustment — it is a complete shift in the product offering after payment has already been made.
Compounding the issue, the interface provides little transparency regarding credit usage or management. Credits are displayed, but there is no clear breakdown of costs, no straightforward method to purchase additional credits, and no clear communication outlining the transition or its implications.
From a customer standpoint, this experience feels misleading and unacceptable. When customers commit to long-term plans based on specific capabilities, those capabilities should not be significantly reduced without fair remedy or clear opt-out options.
I am requesting a refund or an equitable resolution to address the change in service terms. I hope the company responds constructively and improves transparency and customer communication moving forward.
Nice UI/UX, so I’m happy.

From promising a lifetime £6 subscription whilst they fixed bugs. They decided to charge me £30. I had also cancelled fully prior to this charge and they still took money without permission. Avoid this dodgey company.

This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with.
Their aggressive advertising conveniently fails to disclose that advertised “discounts” apply only to the first month. After that, pricing jumps significantly. This is deeply misleading and feels intentionally designed to lure customers in under false pretences. Be warned.
Billing is equally chaotic. Usage limits and credit rules are changed with little to no notice, consistently pushing costs higher. You’re left trying to reverse-engineer invoices rather than run your business.
Support is the final straw. Responses are unhelpful, often condescending, and it’s nearly impossible to get a clear or straight answer to a simple question. You’re passed around, deflected, or given vague replies that solve nothing.
Overall, this feels like a company optimised for marketing and revenue extraction — not transparency, customer success, or long-term trust. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
I love how fast the content is created. I can see myself spending less time in Canva and pushing out way more content!

Holo just changed to Credit based System also for EXISTING users, which paid already for a year subscription.
Much less than before!
This was not the thing i signed and paid. Will change to other tool in future.
