The WORST customer service I have EVER come across!
Short version - £488 for transitions lenses. they never clear, always tinted. Impossible to contact online opticians. I'll try my bank, failing that, small claims court. Don't get yourself in this position.
I ordered a reglaze, paid nearly £500, sent in my frames and then heard nothing. For two weeks I repeatedly phoned (they don't answer, you have to leave a message and hope they call you back) with no reply. I repeatedly emailed with no reply. I have never been so frustrated and powerless and annoyed with a company ever!
Eventually they called me - very sorry, couldn't have what I had ordered for some reason I didn't understand, so a new order was agreed on and a promise of a discount for all my time and trouble with a dodgy excuse as to why they had blanked me for 2 weeks.
2 weeks later my glasses came - with an invoice for the original order. I have had no discount, no invoice for the new agreed order and I doubt very much that they have supplied what was agreed on.
Again, they are blanking my emails, totally ignoring me and I can, seemingly, do nothing about it.
I don't believe this is a company, it's a one man band with a flash website and he thinks he can treat customers as he likes.
Steer clear at all costs!
After seeing this review they sent me an email saying they thought I was lying when I said "I doubt very much that they have supplied what was agreed on" and including the advice "I would suggest that you edit your review"
So I will.
My frames cost over £200 and the reglaze cost £488. They were supposed to be transitions that darken outside and become completely clear indoors. They do not. They are always tinted, never clear, which is why, together with the abcence of an invoice, I still doubt what lenses they have supplied . There is nothing I can do about it as they refuse to respond. I ordered these on 28/02/25. It took untill 03/04/25, after failng to produce the original order, to take a new order. After 2 1/2 months it's still not sorted. I can only repeat - Steer clear at all costs!

This has been the most frustrating, annoying, comical, pathetic online purchase I have ever been involved in. The above quotes are taken from their last email to me in response to me telling them I intended to dispute my payment to them with the bank. I did this as a last attempt to get an ammended invoice from them for the lenses they say they provided. Why they were so determined not to provide an invoice I can not imagine. They have finally provided it. That's that.
I suspect I may not go back to them for my next pair of glasses. what do you think?
