Little colorwork on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.

Loving these colors together so far.

I found this random ball of really soft white yarn in my stash and started a hat last night. Then I panicked because maybe this yarn isn’t wool, maybe it’s some really nice soft cotton - which is lovely, but definitely not great for a hat band. So I used this oh-so-helpful site and did the burn test.

Confirmed. Animal fiber. I’ll knit on.

Can’t decide if this is going to be the cutest or the ugliest baby hat you’ve ever seen.

It’s still winter but it’s sort of light out at 6pm and somewhere out there on the horizon is spring.

Doesn’t look like much yet, but it’s going to be a Hiro cardigan.
