maybe i need to stop watching the m9 animated series. it’s not enough to be kinda ugly, they also gotta be needlessly grotesque and changing all the characters. idk. every ep is “they would not fucking say that.” it feels like it wants to punish me personally somehow.

Never ever forget dinner party Essek. The cool collected professional Shadowhand completely and 100% outing himself as a socially awkward dork over the course of a single meal. Fucking incredible.
He was used to Den Politics and Double Speak, with everything being 12 layers of symbolism wrapped in a metaphor that also wants to kill you for personal gain. That poor Noble Drow had no idea what to do when dropped kicked into a semi-normal peasant friendship dynamic. He’s read about the poors talk to each other in a book once. He never thought his career would ever require him to act like a normal person. How dare they do this to him, honestly.
