Terrible experience

First of all I think Meta must have recruited Microsofts old UX staff because it is crazy messy and everytime I click on something a new tab opens in my browser. Do again, do it right!

Second issue is that Meta tries to authorize money on my credit card all the time without permission which makes my bank block the transactions. So to avoid this I filled up my account with a balance. But still instead of deducting the sum from my prepaid balance Meta still tries to take money from my credit card. I have gone through the settings but I can't find anywhere to change this. This blocks my account and my time sensitive marketing campaign. They do as many monopoly companies do. They use their position to totally screw their customers.

Worst experience with a software ever.

I get message that Meta can't process payment so now I look and see I have spent $342 - without approving or KNOWING I AGREED, no email to confirm, nothing, so I am hoping to not pay as this ai, is gone crazy in our society.

Appalling

Appalling. The UX is the worst I've seen in years. Wasted hours trying to set up a basic ad with a click through. In the end, they blocked me saying there was a security issue and asked me to re-authenticate with an old phone number I have no access to. Abandonned the exercise.

The platform is getting more confusing than ever

It’s 2025, and Facebook and Instagram Ads are still not fully integrated. After 10+ years in advertising, I find the platform more confusing than ever—overly complex, unintuitive, and full of issues.

My ads randomly stop running without explanation, and there’s no clear guidance on how to fix it. This has happened multiple times. Running Instagram-only ads often interferes with Facebook campaigns, creating more problems.

Customer support looks helpful on the surface but rarely solves anything. Meta seriously needs to simplify the system and offer real support.

Worst Customer Service Ads Platform in the world

For being one of the largest platforms in the world, you would think they would care about ads and small business success... ZERO Customer service absolutely amazing that they don't have a customer service support to use their platform. I have been in business for 8 years, and haven't been able to run an ad on Meta Facebook, because it is so darn complicated. Obviously they have tech guys build it and never ask a real business owner if it makes sense..... Zuck, needs to fire everyone and start over

Very bad

Very bad, low quality service. I couldn't even set up my account. I tried to type in my bank account's details, and my Ads account was restricted FOR NO REASON. I had spent DAYS learning how the platform works and crafting a campaign. It is ESSENTIAL for me to launch the campaign tomorrow. And they disable my account FOR NO REASON. No problem, right? To log back they can simply send a code to your email, or something, right? NO. You have to MESSAGE THEM and send them A FORM. Thank you for your help, Meta. Thanks for creating a service where you can't even type your payment details without being restricted.

Waste of time and money

I've used Facebook Ads for some time, and I haven't been impressed with it.
As a UK business, I target the UK only, but I seem to get visitors from people in obscure places in Africa etc. which is a total waste of time and money.
Facebooks Ads isn't particularly great for advertising a business, these days. It's been taken over by the likes of TikTok, which are delivering a much better, and more reliable service.

Rejects adverts under the rule of…

Rejects adverts under the rule of "fraud_scams_deceptive_practices_policy" even though it's a job advert, then approves it when the word 'shift' has been removed. Also had adverts rejected which have previously been approved. It's basically a lottery as to whether a job advert is approved or not.

Facebook Marketplace Scam

Contacted lister of an item. No response. Found four other listers offering this same item with a couple of days. The photos were identical including the windows behind the item. A scam indeed. Buyers beware of Facebook Marketplace!

They will make our small business go bust!!!!!!!!

The absolute worst platform out there!!!!!!!!! You run ads for 2 weeks, pay for ads, spend all of your business profits and then they disable your account for 2 months!!!!!!!!!!! So all the money you invest in ads is a complete waste!!!!!! They will make your business go bust, I strongly advise any small business not to waste their profits on Facebook ads and go to a more reliable platform like TikTok or YouTube where you won't waste all your money on ads just for your account to get disabled as soon as you started getting traction. Don't even get me started on the customer support!!! Useless, completely useless!!!!!!!!!!! I spent over £2k on ads and my account got disabled before I started getting any real traction, they just got out of the learning phase and then useless Facebook decided to disable my account!!!!!!!!! That was 3 months ago!!!!!! The customer support is so useless I needed to start another ad account because that account is still not fixed!!!!!! Now after investing hundreds in the new account, finally getting traction, ads just got out of the learning phase, and have spent hundreds!!!!!! I wake up and my goddamn account is disabled again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! facebook will make your business go bust, they are the worst platform. I strongly advise any small business out there that can't afford these losses to take their business elsewhere because Facebook will steal all of your money!!!!! I am getting a lawyer involved in this and taking this further because Facebook has stolen thousands of pounds from my business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!
