AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!! Firstly the bag took forever to arrive, wasn't clear that it was shipped from China!
Then when it did arrive it STINKS of fish!
I paid over 50 pounds for this bag.... only responce I got was an offer of approximately £8 back.... I have sent so many emails to them asking for a return form and requesting a refund however I have been ignored constantly..... so SCAM COMPANY for sure.....

The smell🤢

I ordered the bag for my birthday and I was really happy when it arrived (it arrived just in time) but it stinks so so much its unbearable. I tried to to everything to get the smell of fish out of the bag but nothing. Its been over a month and it still smells horrible.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. It took me more than 50 days to receive my package on account of some problems with the mail carrier - I asked for a refund as this was way outside the normal delivery time and they refused. All emails obviously written by AI and very impersonal and not helpful in the slightest. Bag finally arrived but is too small to fit a laptop (the zippers on the inside are too tight), smells weird and the material is very thin.

Refund policy

Ordered a Broojlyn bag, shipping was fine, bag arrived ok. Quite pretty, although it's too small for going to class which is what I bought it for. Web site says easy refund policy. Not true. I've being trying to organise a refund for 5 days, they answer my emails once/ day, to offer me varying levels of refund to keep the bag. So far I'm up to 30%, what !I really want is a full refund, so far no joy. Also web site implies free returns, also untrue, return shipping is at the customers charge.

I bought one of the Brooklyn Bags about a month ago and made a payment through KLARNA (very important!). It took longer than the expected delivery days before it arrived, I contacted AYVA and they were actually really helpful with the correct information even though it seemed a little weird, that the bag was being send from somewhere in China before it arrived at AYVA in Sweden and then was shipped to Denmark too me. When it finally arrived I wasn’t really impressed by the overall look of the bag and it doesn’t live up to their own description of luxurious - the leather, zippers and inside material seem very cheap, smells weird and is very thin and fragile, so maybe all the comments about the bag looking like something from Temu isn’t far from the truth. I contacted AYVA again wanting to return the bag and get a full refund. Again they answered quickly and were very helpful. But I find the process of the refund very weird - at first they offered me 30% refund and to keep the bag, but I declined. Then they offered 50% and to keep the bag, but again i declined. Then they offered 70% and to keep the bag, but again I declined. And then at last they offered a full refund and let me keep the bag. I guess that’s very nice, now I have a free bag, but I don’t think it will last very long. And luckily I made the payment through KLARNA, so the money never left my account and here at the end I just registered a return, AYVA accepted it, and I kept my money. So overall it ended good, but I wish I had just bought a bag were I knew I could trust the brand and the quality.
