Multi-activity basket capability needed NOW!
I've been using Pebble as a parent for nearly 2 years to book wrap around school care for my children. I noticed immediately that if I wanted to pay using my Tax Free childcare allowance the process was slow. The fun really started my second child started school - the Pebble basked system doesn't work for multiple activities. I now have 2 children at 2 schools, requiring before and after school club. This requires me to check out 4 times, with a minimum of 31 clicks each time. That's 124 clicks, not including the initial log in to Pebble and PonchoPay!! It takes about 45 mins and is such a chore. I dread 'last minute' childcare rearrangements that need an inpromtu booking. I've spoken to other parents and they are experiencing the same thing - everyone hates the system. I've spoken to the club provider, MFSE, and they're aware of how awful it is to use. I've spoken to Pebble twice, a year apart, and they say they're 'working on it' still. They now hide behind an AI chatbot and email and don't engage in meaningful conversation. For a company of this size it seems a simple problem to be so ruinous to the customer experience. But I suppose Parents aren't the real customers, are we?

Customer Service has gone down since introduction of AI bot
I have been with Pebble for 18 months now - when we started we were allocated a customer service manager and this was great if we encountered any issues we could be intouch and get them resolved. Now we are reliant on AI which is not always great and if you request to speak to someone it can take a few days to get an email response - not great when you have a customer waiting on a solution. Just recently there was an issue with some of my Tax Free payments going to another provider due to Pebble adding an old Ofsted number. It took almost a week to sort the number out over which time I lost money and they have done nothing to help recover the money sent to another provider. Not even an apology - this is seriously making me consider returning to my old booking system.

The customer service is shocking
The customer service is shocking! There is no aftercare and nothing is actioned months later. The site is lovely, but when you have no choice but to request data or something to be edited they fail miserably. Thinking of moving as this is unacceptable.

Very disappointed and bad communication
I was initially impressed by their onboarding process and the helpfulness of their staff when I signed up. However, after canceling my subscription, they continued to withdraw funds from my account without any explanation or response to my inquiries. When I sought clarification about these charges, I was completely stonewalled. To make matters worse, if you encounter issues, you'll find that they operate under the name Sprout Care Ltd, making it difficult to block them. I was seriously considering relying on their services at a critical stage in my business development, and this experience has been incredibly disappointing.

Customer service so far has been brilliant and there when needed. We have enjoyed using Pebble and had a positive experience overall so far, however its the speed in which we have been able to contact customer service which has been the best and most helpful.
Eventually got it to work
I previously wrote about getting stuck in a loop when trying to book childcare. The Pebble support team were very quick to respond to my review and found the problem was my account was only set up for booking activities. So it turns out if you then try to book childcare, it keeps going round in circles on their site, never once advising the user of the problem. So it's a frustrating bug in the system that I hope they iron out. I managed to use another account to book the childcare I needed, so got their in the end.

Would recommend for activities
Great service easy to use app would recommend, I’ve booked x2 blocks of music for language sessions at MUSIC HOUSE. Can’t recommend enough. And I booked the little birdsong concert Christmas special on wens 18th dec. that was super fun!

Our charity started using Pebble this year and is has improved our participants' ability to book with ease tremendously. The Pebble team are helpful and communicative and the interface is really easy to use (and looks nice!) from both the supplier and customer ends. Really recommend Pebble.

Laure and all the care givers at Busy Bees Thurstaston have been brilliant in caring for my son. Nothing seems too much trouble and they go out of their way to accommodate extra session if I need, often at very short notice.
