The car was delivered and my old car taken as trade in. The gent that delivered the car took me for a good 'walk around' it and explained all aspects. we completed the paperwork on them receiving my old car and me taking the new one.
Thus far an excellent car and a great team to deal with. I would definetly use this company again

Sad they closed...

Got my lil Toyota Aygo 4yrs from them. Absolutely impeccable! I have it until now and never failed. I was coming back again to upgrade to a bigger vehicle and realised they closed. Really sad.

oh im not a customer i worked there,

i can tell you why the business flopped, senior manager Steve lied about high returns to the director and focused on sales to keep his bonus, a lady called Hannah threw money up the wall as an inexperienced manager who lied for a promotion 95% of sales lied or slipped extras in for bonuses, noel was smoking funny things and not managing sales.. ian was lovely though... and andrew needs to come out the cupboard

Purchased a Mazda 6 from carzam

Purchased a Mazda 6 from carzam. It was fine till I noticed a patch on the left passenger door which they said its nothing and the car was not involved in an accident. Few days ago 4 warning lights came up on my dashboard and now I need to take it to the Mazda dealership immediately to get it checked.

One of the worst customer experiences…

One of the worst customer experiences of my life, glad they've gone under. Took two months to unwind a finance agreement on their side after I cancelled receipt of the car *before it left their showroom*, initially through ineptitude and then because they laid off all their finance department. Parent company is Big Motoring World so be careful with them too!

Still waiting for refund after paying for repairs out of my own pocket

I Bought my car on Monday 7th March. I went to pick it up on the Friday 11th March at Corby Branch. Upon inspection of the car with Anwar (customer representative) there were various damages on the car including a dent on the passengers side. After weeks of back and forwards communication, Grace (Carzam customer service presentative) agreed to get it fix. The car was then booked in with Revive Auto on the Monday 28th March for repairs on Saturday 28th May between 09:00-12:00, as I had to get time off for this due to the fact I work away. Unfortunately the Revive representative never turned up on the Saturday despite being in all day ‘just incase.’ The customer service was closed on the Saturday so I emailed Revive Auto to find out why they never turned up and this what they sent me:

“Good morning,

Recently, we were instructed to no longer carry out repairs for Carzam and are no longer an allocated repairer for them. As our repair agreement with Carzam came to an end, we referred all outstanding repairs back to themselves and they should have contacted you to discuss your repair going forward.

Once again, I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused but this is something you will need to contact Carzam about directly as their affiliation with Revive has ceased.”

I rang Carzam on the 30th May to get an update as to why no one turned up and I was informed by Cameron from Carzam they weren’t aware Revive Auto was cancelling customer bookings. He said he would get in touch with Revive Auto for confirmation and get back to me later on that day. I waited all day and never got any phone calls or updates from Carzam. After back and forwards, Carzam agreed for me to get external quotation for the repairs and pay for it out of my own pocket and they’ll reimburse the full amount. The quote was approved by Carzam and the repairs were completed. I then sent them the invoice for the reimbursement, which Hannah (Carzam customer service representative) agreed to refund in 7-10 working days. I emailed them to get an update I had no response. Unfortunately the refund never arrived and I’m still waiting.

I hope this can get resolved as soon as possible as this has been an ongoing issue now for more than fourteen weeks and has caused me a lot of stress with regards to getting time off to be where I need to be in order for repairs to happen, to then have someone not show up.

Mixed experience, probably wouldn't used them again.

First of all, the buying process was easy, website easy to naviage etc. Finance was easy, too. I chose my delivery date and was looking forward to taking delivery of my car. A few days later I received a phone call to say that my car wouldn't be ready on the date I'd selected (a Saturday), but could be delivered a week and a half later. Fine, I took the day off work so that I had time to check the car over, take it for a drive etc. Then a few days later, a week early, the car turned up! Luckily I was working from home but I didn't have my old car, which I was part exchanging, ready, so had to rush around to empty belongings from that, very quickly check the new car and take it for a very quick drive around the block, conscious that I should have been working. The car did not come on the back of a van as shown in the Carzam marketing, so was not particularly clean. It also had certainly not been professionally valeted on the inside, either. It came with only one key, when it was advertised as having two, no sd card for the sat nav, and had no paperwork - log book, service history etc. I took the plunge and accepted the car, calling the customer center about the missing items. I was told to get a quote for a replacement key, which I did, but after calling for the second or third time about the missing service history and V5, I received the key and sd card in the post. They kept telling me the V5 would arrive eventually, but we're more than 10 weeks down the line now and the .gov website still says the last V5 was issued well before I bought the car, so it's still not sorted. If anyone from Carzam reads this, please reach out and sort this out. It really shouldn't take this long to supply a customer with a document that you insist is a necessity for me to provide to you for the car I'm part ex-ing. I'm tired of calling the customer centre only to be told that I will receive it - I just wish Carzam would do as they promise.

If ever a company deserved to go bust........

Quite the worst customer service I've ever experienced with any purchase. Firstly, the procedure for self identification in order to place the order was complicated and difficult and needed the help of an IT specialist friend and several phone calls to Carzam to sort out. Having got through that one and then paid in full for the car, I was advised by email the following day that the registration document for the car was missing and that I, not Carzam, would have to obtain a new one via DVLA. After many phone calls, it became clear that DVLA would not do this as the car was already registered in someone else's name. Carzam promised, in writing, to resolve this on the day the car was delivered. On the due delivery date, Carzam were supposed to call me to let me know what time to expect them. Not having heard from them, I called them, only to be told that delivery would not take place that day as the car had been damaged and needed repair. They could not say when it would be ready. I gave up at that point and cancelled the order and asked for my money back. It took Carzam two weeks to repay me. The experience taught me never to buy a car from an online dealer ever again.

Bmw x2 arrived and insde looked like it…

Bmw x2 arrived and insde looked like it was kept as a chicken coup, only 1 key that did not lock the car + tyre pressure system malfunction so refused it, then waited 3 weeks for £18000 refund. Now seen the car on sale at big motoring world. NA18YE. Probably still has the same problems. They took all your money and are now selling the same cars on Big motoring world. Director of carzam is Director of Big motoring world.

I've never given a second one star but these people fully deserve it. I was promised that they deal with DVLA and I'll get the logbook, well they gave them a wrong address so now I have to shell out £25 for admin and waste time. Just read the reviews on Google of carzam, you'll realize why I don't even bother calling. Scam, avoid
