I had an absolutely terrible experience…

I had an absolutely terrible experience with FlightSearch. Their customer service is the worst I’ve encountered. After sending 20 plusemails, I received no resolution to my issue. In fact, they outright told me they will not respond to any further emails – completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

If there are any changes to your flight, you are trapped. They create situations where you’re forced to pay extra, and they offer no real support. The entire process feels like a scam – they make it nearly impossible to make changes, and instead push you toward cancelling and taking a refund, which often comes with penalties or delays.

Avoid FlightSearch if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. This is not a company that cares about customers.

För vår service tar vi ibland ut en avgift om resenären inte valt att teckna vårt servicepaket. Servicepaketet inkluderar bland annat hjälp med ombokningar och andra tilläggstjänster vid eventuella ändringar.

Book your tickets with the airlines instead

Everything is perfect until something happens and you need help from the company. We got different information from diffrent agents at the company and it took a long time to get answers. We still dont have all the information we needed. I will book my flights with the airlines next time.

Can't pay, no email response, no tickets.

The payment solution system went down when I was trying to pay for tickets and I contacted the company in email with screenshots asking for help. Meanwhile the company's website went down. Instead of help I received a message that the tickets had been unbooked, and nearly a week later they still have not responded to any of my emails to the support site email.

They have a paid customer support solution that I would absolutely not recommend based on the response rate we experienced.

I accidentally booked the wrong date…

I accidentally booked the wrong date for the flight back, and didn’t pay extra to be able to rebook the latter flight. However, the customer support helped me save hundreds of dollars by letting me pay a very small fee instead so I could change the date.

You will be called a criminal by this company

We had suchhh a weird experience with this company. I am a non-european with an Dutch girlfriend. For the last 7 years she has booked flights for me since it is cheaper to pay in euro. We always go to Skyscanner and find a flight through there. This would be the final flight I would have to take alone since we finally got my visa approved. Therefore she booked a one-way ticket with her creditcard through skyscanner. But skyscanner bugged and to avoid losing the price, she used a VPN to book a ticket under my name. The payment was approved, ticket was booked. Some days later we get an email with all kinds of questions about who we are and who paid for this ticket etc. They asked to speak to my girlfriend on the phone but when she tried to call them they were unreachable. She then sent an email to them explaining what was the situation.
We got an email back that our situation was suspicious and they suspected fraud or a scam. They said they were even going to start an investigation against us. We were completely baffled, firstly by having a company ask us all these questions. It felt like a big invasion of privacy. Secondly, because we were being called scammers and it felt like we were some kind of criminals.
When asked if they could please explain more about why they were doing this, especially since the payment already went through- they got their money - they refused to give any more explanation and just cancelled it like that. I lost transfer costs of the bank to their bank because of it and we had to get a new, more expensive ticket. I lost money because of them for nothing.

Anyway, I would definitely never recommend using this company. Just avoid it if you see it on Skyscanner, especially if you book for someone else or the creditcard holder is going to be a different person than the person using the ticket.

I booked a flight

I booked a flight, I then receive a mail the day after saying my flight was cancelled. I then mailed them to say why is my flight cancelled and why haven’t I received a refund. They then proceed to say I haven’t paid for my flight therefore my flight was cancelled? Make it make sense. I sent proof that my flight was paid and they still tell me that it wasn’t. Worst customer service. Don’t book a flight with them!

Fabulous business model and nightmare customer experience

Oh, dear customer, you have fallen into the clutches of FlightSearch, the travel agency with a heart colder than a penguin's toe and a business model so twisted, it makes M.C. Escher's drawings look like child's play. Here's a lesson for you: if you're booking a flight and want to ensure that you're not left stranded, be sure to fork over extra cash for their service package. Because, you know, it's not enough to pay for the actual ticket - you also need to pay for the privilege of not being left high and dry.

In my case, I learned this lesson the hard way. I booked my flight through FlightSearch and, surprise surprise, several legs of my journey got cancelled. When I reached out to FlightSearch for help, they cheerfully informed me that I would need to pay an additional fee for their service package if I wanted them to rebook my flights. After all, why should they be responsible for fixing a problem that wasn't my fault?

Of course, being the naive customer that I am, I thought I could just go straight to the airline and sort things out. Silly me! The airline informed me that because I had booked through FlightSearch, they couldn't reissue my tickets - only FlightSearch had that power. So I was sent scurrying back to the clutches of FlightSearch, forced to pay their ridiculous fee just to get the flights I had already paid for.

So there you have it, folks. If you want to experience the thrill of being at the mercy of a heartless travel agency with a penchant for making its customers suffer, book your flights through FlightSearch. You'll never forget the experience - whether you want to or not.

Scammers, thiefes

Scammers, I just asked if they can cancel my flight for free (after 10 min from booking when I saw that my bank charged huge conversation rate) - and they told me I can only cancel for fee (that cane be normal I am not saying anything) but then I did not agree to cancel for fee and they cancelled everything! and did not refund my money, I can not by another flight now because of that. I literally have no words. Maybe someone can help me to where I could go to complain about this?

You did send emails to several different emails and both to our Norwegian and Swedish helpdesk.

To our Swedish helpdesk you logged in to your booking and sent us the following messages:

Time 17:33 "cancel please"
And a new message
Time 17:48 "Hi, I know I have a right to cancel my booking within 24 hours. I want to do that because my bank charged me huge currency convertion rate and the ticket is super expensive now. I want to cancel - or you can charge my card in Eur (that had to be 546 eur )"

Based on your request we cancelled the booking according to our T&C:s (which you confirmed upon booking). The booking was cancelled, eticket stopped and a refund was sent to your card. This action can only be done on the same day as the the purchased ticket was non-refundable. We believe we acted in good faith helping you out with your request to cancel.

Do NOT trust this company.

Do NOT trust this company.
We bought our flight ticket thoguth FlightSearch and the return flight was cancelled by the Airline. So we contacted Flightsearch to issue a new flight ticket and they wanted to charge an extra fee to re book a new flight ticket. so they sent a link to sign up a "service package" in order to handle and re-schedule the flight cancellation. This must be a action taken by the FlightSerch without any extra cost. without signing any service package.

See the very low review of this company on Trustpilot and Google reviews. Very Low customer satisfaction.

There are way many more travel agency in the market with higher customer engagement approach and reviews.

Worst Company ever!

Worst Company ever!! Do not book with them. They have changed my flight twice and you cannot get in touch with them. They want me to land and board the next flight at the same time which is insane. It states that they have phone opening hours but they do not respond on phone refering to email which they do not respond to as well… the Company is a fraud!!

Flightsearch.se gave us the best flight deal!

Flightsearch.se is a subsidiary of Travel Design AB. A Stockholm-based Travel Business. Recently, I booked a flight ticket for my family of 4 people to fly to India. Flightsearch.se offered the cheapest ticket during the Christmas holiday season, 2023. Booked in two weeks advance.

Since they only had web-based support, I was a bit stressed at the beginning. The pricing seemed too good to be true. However, soon two of their customer care officers got in touch with me. They send me a confirmed ticket and answered all my questions. Very fast help!

Flightsearch.se are legit like any other legit Online Travel Agencies (OTA's). They must not be blamed for issues that happen with airlines. They also have to tie up with Klarna so one can book as a one-time payment or a delbetalining. When anyone books through Klarna, Klarna offers some additional security.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I bought a ticket to go and back from Chile to Sweden. I miss my plane to go to Sweden, so I travel to Sweden with another company. And now I get in know the ticket to go back to Chile IS NOT VALID. So I miss go and back, but the airlines can sell again my ticket... very nice. The answer from flight search is "This is the airline rule , for us it does not matter if you use whole or only part of your ticket". VERY NICE WAY TO TREAT YOUR COSTUMERS.
Bottom of line: I trow €1200 to the toilet.
My advise: Don't waste money in this 3rd class companies and buy the tickets direct to a good airline.

We are sorry to hear you missed your flight. Please note industry standard is that airlines dont allow you to use the return flight if you did not participate on the fist sector of your ticket. This is common practice with all airlines if you buy a return ticket. This has nothing to do with Flightsearch and is the rule for any booked ticket in the whole market. Please see the Finnair rules below in their FAQ since you had a Finnair ticket. We as a travel agency do not make any profits prohibiting you from using your return flight.

No refund

No refund, waiting since March!! Called and emailed numerous times. Continuously put on hold or hung up on or get the automated email response. Posted a review on this site over a month ago, the company called and insured me they would mail me a cheque for the amount of my flight refund. It has been almost a month and I still have not received it. Funny how I post a review and they respond quick for their image. Don't trust this company! Very unprofessional!!!
