I recently purchased flight tickets online based on the advertised price, but shortly after booking, I received a call informing me that my tickets were actually on a waitlist. When I refused to accept this, they offered me alternative dates at significantly higher prices, and they made it clear that refunds were not an option.

I tried escalating the issue to a supervisor, but was met with rudeness and a lack of courtesy. The supervisor outright told me that it was foolish to expect the advertised price to be valid and insisted that it was normal for these tickets to be on a waitlist. Nowhere in the terms and conditions did it mention that I would be put on a waitlist—only that refunds wouldn’t be issued if the airline couldn’t honor the price. Yet, I was given no real choice: either pay over $1000 more or stay on the waitlist, which was not feasible for my family of four.

To make matters worse, I discovered that the total cost ended up being even higher due to an additional $300 commission fee, making this a complete loss for me.

In summary, this was not just a poor service experience but also a scam. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Extremely disappointed with the service. I had to chase repeatedly for my e-ticket, and every person I spoke to gave me different answers. In the end, Jenny managed to send it to me in just five minutes — something that should have been done straight after I paid. The lack of efficiency and clear communication wasted my time and left me very frustrated. I won’t be booking with them again.

SCAM. BEWARE. SCAM. You buy a ticket with them, then they send you an email to cancel your reservation and offer you a much more expensive ticket. If you refuse, they charge you $150. They are THIEVES.

You book online on their site and firmly believe this company is acting dishonestly.

I purchased my flight ticket from them. I had an email that said: "Your booking is under process of Airline confirmation. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. For more information please call our customer care team for further information on +1-844-573-4079" Few time after, i guy called me to tell me that my flight ticket is not reliable and it will cost me twice the price if i want to confirmed it. Finally, It cost me 175$ just to cancel the order.

A bunch of thieves...use them at your peril...rope you in with great flight prices on their website so that you make a booking and then you get a message to say Your booking is under process of Airline confirmation. The sales team then phone you to advise that the return leg is not confirmed and tell you it is another £351!!! I advised I wanted to cancel and I was told that I have to pay £50 for Airport Duty Taxes...I explained that they had not been able to sell me the product they advertised so they were in breach and I requested a full refund. They kept saying the £50 goes to the government! It is an absolute disgrace of a company...do not use - unless you want to battle with them to get a full refund.
I spoke with my bank who advised I can do a claim back for the full amount paid as Flighttrotters could not provide the service/goods I had paid for. A claim back will incur additional costs to Flighttrotters...see how they like it. They have until close of business tomorrow to refund me the full amount.

Be careful, this is a fraudulent company. I bought a round trip ticket from them for $932 and I received the confirmation in my email (I have proof if they do it). The same day, one of their employees named Frank contacted me to tell me no, your ticket is $1,385.49 and that I am forced to buy it at this price. I asked him to cancel my reservation and he told me that it is impossible!!! They wanted to sell me the fore bilker and it was almost double the price displayed on their site. I strongly advise you not to buy a ticket from this company. They are thieves. NB: if you need proof, I have all the emails exchanged with them and with the employee Frank.

Please don't use this company, I don't understand why it has such high ratings. Just booked a flight for 5 this morning on the website. Then received an e mail saying Your booking is under process of airline confirmation please except my apologies for the inconvenience one of our sales team will be in touch shortly. I checked my credit card and the payment had already been taken out so I assumed it had gone through. Then we phoned them to confirm this had gone through and after holding on for ages they came back and said the taxes had gone up and we had to pay an extra £290 each. We could not do this so said we would have to cancel the booking. They then said we had to pay £45 cancellation fee. Ok said that was unfair as had we known the correct price in the first place we would not have booked it. I then spoke to the manager who then said the cancellation fee was £115 each, I said your representative just said it was £45, he then said as a gesture of faith he would charge the £45, so I have lost money and still have no flights. Please do not book through this company, I would hate anyone else to loose money.

Scam, Scam, Scam!!!!
Booked a flight to Chicago. They called me not even two hours later and said they can do better ticket but for twice the price. I have confirmed flight to Chicago but no return flight!!! And they do not want to return my money!!! Do not use them. I never will and will tell everyone to beware of scammers like that
