Frequent fliers - avoid!
So disappointing that I’ve had to write this review as I initially LOVED my July case. It looked good, it was smooth, and I was excited to use it.
I’m a frequent traveller, and having a working suitcase is fundamental.
Unfortunately, within a couple of months my suitcase lining broke. The team were very quick and sending me a replacement, and I was very appreciative!
Then, only a few months later, the replacement stopped rolling properly. There was a huge issue with the wheels and I ended up having to drag my case from place to place, which during an eight week trip was particularly traumatic. I was sent a new pair of wheels, but wasn’t actually able to replace them myself due to either my equipment (I couldn’t get the angle to actually remove the wheels) or -
according to the company - the fact that that was just one of me. Unfortunately, I live alone, and a suitcase fault that has nothing to do with me should not rely on somebody needing additional support to get it fixed. I followed the tutorial video but could not remove the original wheels, so replacing it was impossible.
I have contacted them multiple times since to try and find another solution, but nothing has been presented. I now absolutely dread using the suitcase and will have to buy another one, less than a year after shelling out on a relatively expensive product.
Would recommend all frequent fliers to avoid July.

Product Doesn't Hold Up
It only took two journeys before significant and unsightly wear and tear started to appear, with paint pealing off and efflorescence to scuffs, despite all the assurances what the case could withstand. Not worth the expensive price tag and left feeling conned given the warranties do not provide any assistance for poor quality and workmanship.

Handle failed to retract after 2 uses and less than 3 weeks after it was bought. Customer service personnel i.e. Maddie and the July Customer Happiness Team and July Happiness Team are untrustworthy, and unreliable. I definitely and avsolutely do not recommend anyone buying this product.
Outstanding customer service & products
Excellent product, exceptional service for Caselock
I had a problem with the new Caselock on my new Medium Checkin luggage. I emailed July and within 3 days a replacement was on it's way. I have a July carry-on and knew the products to be excellent quality, attractive and easy to use. I now know the products are backed up with exceptional Customer Service!!

These products are just the best value for money, a fraction of the price of big name brands that are living on past reputations. This luggage is just fantastic.
Telescopic handle didn't last a week
Telescopic handle failed to retract a week after purchase. I was in South America on route to buy a Samsonite when I found a Cobbler. I couldn't speak Spanish nor him English but amazingly 2 hours later he had it fixed. I could not recommend this product (but if you're looking for a Cobbler in Cusco, let me know,)

Customer service responded to my enquiry within minutes. I received complimentary personalisation. The products are brilliant. Can't beat a lifetime warranty. I love this luggage, July has earned its great reputation.
Disappointing quality for a £281 suitcase
I bought a July suitcase less than 9 months ago for £285 and the wheel has snapped clean off during normal use. For a premium-priced product marketed as durable and well-made, this is extremely disappointing.
What’s more frustrating is the response from customer service. Instead of offering a clear solution, I was directed to their FAQ, which felt dismissive given the nature of the fault. A suitcase wheel failing entirely after such a short period is not reasonable wear and tear — it’s a quality issue.
At this price point, I expected far better build quality and far better aftercare. The suitcase looks good, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for poor durability and an underwhelming customer service experience.

What a surprise!
We passed the shop awhile back and went in out of curiosity, to discover the amazing trunk design was epic! The details! And in the carry on trunks size, even having a power pack included with external access was a fantastic discovery. After getting the carry on trunk piece, I then wanted to get a protective cover and found your covers to be beautifully made, easy to use and just as stylish as the bag itself.

The staff in your Bondi Junction store were warm, amusing, genuinely interested and enthusiastic about my purchase. They created a lovely atmosphere in what was a very elevated shopping experience. I have sent a half a dozen friends to that store to make the same purchase because I was very impressed by the bag and the brand.

Return stuck at customs
I live in Canada. I purchased two items: the carry on and carry on essential. I kept the carry on essential and returned the carry on. My return is stuck in customs and FedEx has sent me forms to fill out and forms for July fill out. I have been trying to get a hold of July customer service to get them to fill out a form and they haven’t gotten back to me. Very frustrating. I have no clue when this issue will be resolved

Warranty Issue
I bought a Trunk Plus just over a year ago and a cabin bag recently. I had a warranty issue with the trunk on a recent trip and the customer service was first class. A couple of uploaded videos and a quick turnaround review and all was resolved. A suitable replacement or gift card was immediately offered.
The product is great to use but the customer service is just as good. Brand building stuff from them, Thank you
