This company is a gem

This company is a gem. Very honest. I returned a parcel to this company by mistake, they got in touch with me and returned the parcel back to me so that I could send it to the correct company. Im really impressed with them. Have ordered clothes from them too which most have been true to description. Delivery is good and returning is easy. Would absolutely recommend this company. If I was able to I would give them 6 out of 5.

Chester Store Review

I have bought a number of items from the Chester store and also used it to collect items bought online. On every occasion the staff have been polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Joules is great fun whilst being very professional in dealing with my queries and requests despite me having a very boring name:)
I'm an advocate for shopping local and supporting the High Street so I'll be shopping in store in future rather than online.

Fantastic experience

The care and help that I had from the advisors when I rang regarding purchasing a Leonine Jacket.
They searched all over and found that there was only one left in the size I wanted.
I received it promptly perfectly packed.
Made my day, could not have wished for a better service.

Missing Bag

Purchased a bag on 28/12/25 and was dispatched 30/12/25. I received an email from Royal Mail stating it would be delivered 31/12/25 between 11.15-1.15pm. Have check the tracking and it states still at sorting office. I spoke to Lauren in Customer Services on 5/1/26 who was going to raise an issue with Royal Mail. I was meant to receive a call today to confirm what is happening, but no one called me and still no bag.
Since writing my initial review Lauren has contacted me with updates and resent the bag which had been lost by Royal Mail. Lauren let me decide whether I had the bag sent by DPD or Royal Mail. Due to my previous experience I chose DPD. I have finally received the bag today. Thank you

Online in store collection very unclear

On Boxing day I ordered a late christmas present for a family member, choosing to collect in store as it said there were 7 available. I ordered them, had emails saying the order was confirmed. When I went to store 2 days later (the store staff are very helpful) it's actually the product being despatched from a warehouse - not store pick up - very misleading and unclear process - as now this product is still not available 5 days after ordering and wouldve gone somewhere else

Hidden custom fees (30% of price) - Arrived 21 days from purchase

Bought a jacket from Italy. Upon arrival courier BTR contacted me saying I had to pay additional 30% of the price in customs fees.
I buy online from the UK all the time, no one ever asks for custom fees, but Outdoor and Country seems to have a tricky way of doing business delivering to Europe, hiding fees...
Plus, it arrived 21 days after purchase!

Absolutely fantastic service from…

Absolutely fantastic service from outdoor and country. Had to call them due to a delay in the postal system, got straight through to a fantastic gentleman called Jack who not only did all he could to push it along but also kept in contact to provide an update. Item arrived well packed and perfect condition, the same cannot be said for other retailers this Christmas. Highly recommend outdoor and country for anyone who values great service, thank you.

Barbour zipped jumper

I bought my wife a Barbour zipped jumper which was at a very good price it arrived quickly and well packed unfortunately my wife didn’t like the large cuffs so I returned it with the pre paid shipping and got a refund which was dealt with in a timely manner,the company kept me appraised on what was happening I will definitely use these guys again Top service and prices .

Company operates under .ie (Irish website) and in € currency under false pretences, it is not an Irish website and there is a huge customs charge on receiving the order.

Not acceptable and when phoned for advice - they advised to refuse delivery with DHL which was not an option on the portal.

Very unhappy customer.
