Fantastic customer service

Ordered from here twice and both times I have been really pleased with the service provided.

Plenty of products available on the website and some great prices too. p.s. always check for discount codes!

My most recent order was placed yesterday and the package arrived within 24 hours despite opting for the free of charge delivery (3 - 5 working days).

Communication since placing the order to receiving the order is great. Tracking was available throughout.

Misleading £5 Friday deals

Shopping the £5 Friday promotion is misleading and not as advertised.

This morning, I accessed the £5 Friday deal via the link on Superdrug’s homepage, which claims to display all items included in the offer. However, when selecting a product advertised on this page and adding it to my basket, the price increased to £19.19 rather than the advertised £5.

I contacted Customer Service about this issue and was informed that the £5 price only applies when combined with other offers, such as 20% discounts or 3-for-2 deals. This response confirms that the £5 headline is misleading, as products displayed under the £5 Friday promotion are not actually available for £5 on their own. This advertising is therefore potentially in breach of consumer protection regulations.

Impeccable customer service

Purchased for the first time from Outdoor & Country and I could not be happier with the service and products received.

I'd been looking online at a two Barbour products; both of which were cheaper on a different website by 20% due to a promotional offer. I contacted Outdoor and Country to check if they would honour the price as part of their Price Match. Less than 24 hours after my initial contact, Lucy responded to inform me that they could offer a price match but I would need to call them to do this.

I called the number provided and Jack helped me to place the order. He was able to locate my email and set up an account for me. I received a confirmation email as soon as the order was placed.

The order was delivered 5 days after the order was placed and, there was no delivery fee for this service - a huge advantage over other competitors who are charging for delivery. My only complaint (if you could call it that) would be that the packaging didn't reflect the value paid for the products.

Having never shopped with Outdoor and Country before, I was really pleased with how personal the interactions were. I really felt like a valued customer and not just number.

If you're thinking of purchasing, do check if there is a Price Match to be had. I saved myself 20% from a simple email and call :)

Rip off merchants

Parked at Royal Stoke University Hospital to attend an appointment. As per usual, I spent a good 15 minutes driving around the car park attempting to find a space.

Ahead of attending the appointment, I looked online on the Apcoa website for the prices to park - £3.00 for up to 2 hours. However, I was charged £3.40 on the day. Paying at a machine left me no option but to pay the fee displayed. Yes, 40p isn't much but it is the principle.

I contacted Apcoa following this to which they simply said their website is wrong and the charges are per their signs in the car park. It is a little bit too late once you're on the car park, driving around to realise you're 40p short of the expected fee!

I would hate to think I was in an emergency situation.

If I could give 0 stars, I would!

If I could give 0 stars, I would!! Avoid at all costs unless you're happy with being ripped off.

Placed an online order which was delivered with no issues. The items received do not match the price paid - both the quality and fit of the 5 items in the order was substandard. As such, I planned to return the full order to store to obtain a full refund.

When in store, I was shocked to find that New Look no longer offer a returns service in store where by the refund is processed instantly. Instead, the return has to be processed online (by the customer) and dropped off at the parcel returns box in store. When dropping the parcel off, there is no receipt provided for proof of deposit - something which is concerning when leaving over £100 worth of shopping! To top things off, the return could take up to 14 working days to process - funny how the payment they took from me did not take this long.

New Look has been going downhill for a number of years and this for me is the final straw. Local store closures, do-it-yourself returns, poor quality clothing and shocking customer service are just a few of the issues which are shutting down a once thriving business.

Unfair T&C's update

I have been a member since June 2020 and have always recommended other people to use Airtime Rewards. However, following their introduction of a withdrawal fee I will no longer be using Airtime Rewards.

I received an email on 4th November 2025 to state that a fee would be charged but, there was no indication of what date the fee would be introduced from or, what fee would be charged. I attempted to withdrawal all funds but was unable to do so without being charged a 13% fee.

The fee is only visible once making the withdrawal - in small print at the bottom of the transaction.

There is a serve oversight by Airtime Rewards to issue full details of the changes in a timely manner and as such, I now feel that I am being penalised for this.

Great delivery service

Ordered from Vax, delivered by DPD. Kept informed by both Vax and DPD regarding the delivery via email. Tracking information provided by DPD was very useful and in real time. Provided a delivery time slot which was adhered to.

Delivery driver was friendly and respected both my property and parcel when making the delivery.

Do not buy gift cards!!

Over the years, I have received a number of New Look gift cards and keeping track of what balance is on each of them and when they were last used is a NIGHTMARE! I have resorted to writing on the back of the cards and periodically using the 'balance check' service online offered by New Look.

However, unlike most other gift card providers New Look does not classify a 'balance check' as a transaction and I have now lost a substantial sum of money across a number of gift cards. I have reached out to customer service but they are unable to refund this money.

If the shops were accessible and products moved with the times, I may have been more inclined to use these gift cards!!

HIGHLY DANGEROUS CABLE

Purchased a set of Belkin cables from Costco 2 years ago - given Belkin's reputation for being reliable and reputable, I did not retain the receipt.

One of the cables has since malfunctioned and started to burn. I ceased using the cable and contacted Belkin straight away as this is a safety concern from a fault product.

Belkin have been anything but helpful! They refuse to help unless I provide a copy of the receipt (which I have already explained many times that I do not have and cannot obtain from Costco (I've tried!)). Legally, no receipt is needed and the proof of payment from my bank statement should suffice.

The customer service is very poor - emailing backwards and forwards over the same matter while getting no where.

I am now left with a wire which is of no use, a phone which has been damaged by the faulty cable and no reassurance that this is an isolated issue.

Really good

Opened a Cash ISA following an article on MoneySavingExpert. Amazing interest rates but I was a little concerned that my money would be held in client accounts. However, the app is really informative and it is clear where the client accounts are held.

App made setting up the account really easy and perfect for users. My favourite feature is that interest can be seen daily - who doesn't like to see their money growth every day?

Order for the first time yesterday as the deal was too good to miss. Great prices, easy to use website and the added bonus of a free upgrade to next day delivery!

Would use again - if the products I wanted were cheaper than other high-street stores.

Making saving easy

App is user friendly (not full of technical jargon!) with visual aids as well as figures to show how accounts are performing. Plenty of other account options on the app but, never pushed into opening the accounts. Incentives for saving such as prize draws. Easy to contact customer service (added bonus that it is not just a robot!).

TikTok trend gone wrong

I have used Hays Travel website to find contact details to pass on concerns I have regarding advertising from a local branch. However, on the website there is no information on how to do this other than "We use TrustPilot, an online community-based platform, for collecting and sharing reviews from real customers who have been on real holidays. We would love it if you could leave your feedback, positive or negative, telling us about your booking experience." - hence this review.

My local branch uses TikTok for advertising which I do not oppose to, if anything this is great. However, the advert posted recently is insulting towards customers as the staff attempt to create an advert using the "I'm a travel agent, of course I can..." trend. In the video, it mimics customers asking what the weather will be like, what food options there are at the properties, the budget that customers may have and customers asking for quote details to be printed.

The video is incredibly distasteful and could be misconstrued as false adverting given some of the claims in the video. After seeing this video, I will no longer be using Hays Travel for future travel and nor will my immediate family.

Beware!! 14 day sale return policy

I made 3 online orders (post-Christmas) of sale items. These orders arrived in store quickly and I collected them promptly for fear of the orders being return to the shelves if not collected (collected 11th January). I have since tried these items on and have attempted to create a return online (27th January), something that I have never had issue with in the past. However, this has not been possible as it states that the order is past the return period.

Having reviewed the online returns information, orders have 35 days return period as standard unless it is a sale items where by it has a limited 14 days. This is something I was not aware of at the time of placing or, collecting the order. Had I have waited to collect the order at a later date, my return would still be valid.

I am now over £100 out of pocket as I have items I cannot wear and that I cannot return. Customer service online are awful and have ZERO concept of the Sale of Goods Act.

I would not recommend M&S and nor will I be purchasing from M&S online again.

Value for money

Really easy to purchase the Totum Pro card online. Delivery was quicker than expected and I was kept informed at all time about possible delays. Love the added extra of being able to have both a physical card and, a digital card that can be used.

It goes without saying, the money spent purchasing the card is more than re-couped in the savings made over the lifetime of the membership.

Excellent customer service

Purchased a dress in the sale / clearance a in July 2024. The returns policy on items in the sale is usually 7 days so I was concerned when I found there was an issue with the zip. Contacted the online support and they were very efficient and helpful. Vivian provided reassurance that the item could be returned despite it being beyond the 7 day return period and that if I wanted, they could send a courier to collect the item tomorrow. Excellent customer service, thank you.

Data breach

Purchased tickets for a concert which came with a CD. The CD arrived addressed to the wrong person. I've been in communications with Ticketmaster regarding this as I am concern what they have done with my data. Passed onto another company who they claim to have sent the details to but the company have not actually processed any of the order. Ticketmaster are being very unhelpful in the matter and no responsibility has been taken for the error made. Would avoid in the future as they clearly do not uphold their contract with the customer.

Avoid - use TopCashback instead!!

Purchased airport parking via Quidco. The cashback offer was better through TopCashback but as part of the Quidco T&C's, they will match the cashback offered at TopCashback. I completed the purchase in good faith that the cashback would be paid at the rate advertised by the competitor. The cashback showed as tracked and I claimed the addition difference which was also showing as tracked.

It has now been declined by the retailer (despite me having receipts for the purchase including proof that I have utilised the parking and not requested a refund). Contacted Quidco regarding this and they claim there is nothing they can do. I wish I'd have used TopCashback instead as I know that I'd have received the full cashback being offered.

The retailer is not saying you have not made the purchase and met the terms it is just they did not see Quidco as the originator of this purchase. Transparent pricing and fair for both sell and purhcaser

Used the site for the first time to purchase tickets for a sold out tour. Really easy process and clear costs. Pricing was fair for both the purchaser and the reseller - a great point is that there is a transparent comparision between the original cost of the tickets and the price the seller is offering the tickets at.

Setting up and account was very straight forward and the purchase itself was easy. Received the tickets instantly following purchase.

The seller also provided their email address and phone number which is useful for if there are any issues.

Would 100% purchase (and probably sell) through Twickets again.

Great service

I have purchased 3 cars from Barlow Motors in the past 9 years - 2 from Stoke Seat and 1 from Cupra Wolverhampton. The experiences have been varied but overall, I am happy to return.

I have recently had my Cupra serviced at the Stoke Seat which is something I do annually. I was really happy with the reminders I received to book the service and how easy it was to get an appointment. The handover of the car was quick and easy and, as always, Jenna was very welcoming. It was great to see that the showroom had recently had a makeover and Cupra's are now available (I'll be returning to have a look around for sure!).

The service was completed within 2 hours of dropping the car off and a video was sent over showing an overview of the tests carried out - I'm not a mechanic but it was a great watch. The car was cleaned and a full report prepared.

I've only given 4 stars as the cost is something which I am disappointed by. When I purchased my Cupra, the Wolverhampton branch were supposed to get in touch with me to discuss Service plans after a couple of weeks of ownership. This was never forthcoming and as a result, I'm now left paying the extortionate price for it.
