Great product and couple Qs to support team were addressed quickly. My son really enjoys seeing this data after each session!

It should start when you push a button not when you take them out of the case. Otherwise than that it is really good and I always like looking at my stats after my games.

We had prompt , quick , courteous service from the customer service team with regards to our subscription.
My daughter loves these - but since she had an injury she had not been able to use them much. The team was very helpful with this.

I had a full on panic when I saw that £149 had been charged to my credit card this week. I had no idea that the product was a subscription and my child hasn’t used the trackers since October so it hadn’t even crossed my mind to check. I emailed the support team last night and within minutes had a reply asking for more information which I supplied. Within the hour I had confirmation that the monies had been refunded and the subscription cancelled. Super grateful and anxiety levels reduced much faster than anticipated. Thank you so much. The product itself is great but my 10 year old lost interest unfortunately.

I ordered a Playermaker kit which unfortunately turned out to be defective. When I contacted Playermaker.com, I received a very quick response from Sabrina Barton. She was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process.
Sabrina helped arrange a replacement kit for me, and as an extra gesture of great customer service, I was also refunded the customs fees since I live in Europe.
Thank you very much for the excellent support — especially to Sabrina Barton

Im having a great time using playermaker to track my sessions. I find it super helpful to know my distance, ball touches, ball releases, etc. I also find it super comfortable and easy to use. I don’t even feel it on my foot which is great. Maybe something that could be introduced to make it even better could be personalised training plans, based on your Strenght s and weaknesses.

UPDATE BELOW (and it’s NOT good)
These were given to my son (not by me, grandparents) for Xmas ‘24 and I’ve just had a charge for £149 on my account Dec ‘25 taken without authorisation, which we were not notified would be coming, no emails, nothing. I’ve emailed them 2x at ‘support at playermaker’ (no emails allowed in reviews) as suggested, but no response & I sent a message on instagram as well and no response.
I would like this refunded under their ‘30 day cancellation’ promise, it should apply to all renewals, not just the original purchase. Very disappointing and dodgy business model. Be wary if you buy this product. Impossible to contact a real person and it seems from these reviews that I’m not the only one..
—-UPDATE—-
I received a message on instagram with no apology, no offer of a refund - just a message saying that this item requires a subscription, which is auto renewal every year, unless requested otherwise.
So basically you buy the first year with the price of the trackers and to activate it, you must enter details so that they can take the next subscription fee with no reminder or warning at all. This is a SCAM.

I really like it, it’s helped me improved a lot. It gives back a good amount of information. It’s helped me find out what areas i’ve got to train, and if the things i’m doing are helping me get better. Overall amazing device in my opinion.

I bought a Playermaker for my son and it initially worked well, although the tracking units often failed to sync. Then the charging port became burnt while charging, making the device unusable.
My son was unable to use it for over three months while I went back and forth with Playermaker support. Eventually they sent me a replacement — but the replacement is locked behind an activation screen that keeps asking me to subscribe, yet it never takes me to a place where I can actually subscribe or activate it.
Since November I have emailed repeatedly and received no response. My son has now missed months of use despite me paying for the product and doing everything asked of me.
This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. A company selling products for children should not treat customers this way. I just want a working device or a refund — it should not be this difficult.

I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing this product not to.
We bought this as a Christmas present for our son (from Santa). Upon opening the gift, we were shocked to discover that it had clearly been used. The protective case was covered in dents and scratches, there were water/mud stains on the sizing ticket, and the straps were completely missing.
This was our son’s main Christmas present, and we were left having to explain why he couldn’t use it. What should have been a happy moment was completely ruined.
I contacted Playermaker on Christmas Day and, after a series of emails that appeared to be handled by an AI bot, the issue was eventually escalated and a replacement was agreed. We were instructed to return the damaged/used product.
We promptly completed the return process via Royal Mail, and the item was collected on 27th December. I emailed Playermaker to inform them of this but received no response.
I followed up again on 3rd January, as we still had no replacement and no communication, again, no response.
We chased once more on 5th January, with the same result.
We are now approximately £150 out of pocket, with no product and no communication whatsoever. The lack of quality control and complete absence of customer service is unacceptable.

UPDATE
Your response is misleading, as no additional information has been requested via email, and all requested details were already provided, including completion of the Royal Mail return, which was collected on 27th December.
As of today, no replacement has been sent, no refund has been issued, and no further communication has been received.

We were not advised the player maker is auto renewal service. We have been charged automatically. Raised the issue to the company, they just told they won't be able to refund, even though we didn't use it.

Disgrace
Bought the playmaker 2.0 for a Christmas present
The login then requires you to provide payment details which are not debited until the following year
Why ?
It wasn’t clear that it was a subscription based package
My debit card expires this year so not in 2027 so they couldn’t accept or register the device even though they already took my PayPal details during the registration process

The customer service team was responsive and resolved my issue quickly. On top of that, the product itself is excellent, and it was great to see their service reflect that same high standard.
