QUALITAS AUTO CLASSIC CAR Insurance is the biggest form of legalized fraud.
I AM TAKING THIS INSURANCE COMPANY TO COURT! DO NOT GET INSURANCE WITH THEM.
Sold as protection. Marketed as security. Enforced as mandatory.
You pay on time. Every month. For years.
Then the ONE moment you actually need it—
they pull the rug out from under you.
Suddenly: • “Policy interpretation”
• Hidden clauses
• Delays instead of answers
• Accusations instead of support
• Silence as a strategy
The product disappears the moment it costs them money.
This isn’t bad luck.
This isn’t an exception.

What happened to Qualitas Reputation

Good evening, the following is a review and summary of my experience with Qualitas Insurance.

I chose Qualitas because of its reputation and length of time in business. The agent seemed like she valued the business and seemed professional.
I have been with the agent ten plus years.

My BMW 310 2021 was stolen on October 15, 2025. Since then I have been in constant contact with Qualitas and my local insurance agent, giving them the required paperwork when asked. I was reassured by my agent that Qualitas would pay my claim in full as soon as the paperwork was completed. Actually, she said within ten days of being completed.

All paperwork has been completed, but no payment has been disbursed.

What happened to Qualitas reputation?

Horrible experience in valencia, Before thinking to buy this insurance

Before thinking to buy this insurance, think twice. If you care about your time, energy, work, don’t buy it, because they don’t care about you.
They took my car to their parking before taking it to the mechanic, imagine that i’ve waited 4 days still, and when i call they always use unprofessional language “we’ll try”, they are not professional and they don’t master their process…
I say it again, if you care about your time, energy and work, don’t buy this insurance.

Contratamos cobertura total a través de ING con Qualitas Auto. Nos acaban de informar que nuestro contrato (primer año) no se renovará sin más explicación que citar su póliza. Este es el mensaje de AECS a través de ING: "Lamentamos informarle que, debido a nuestra póliza, AECS ha decidido cancelar su póliza al vencimiento. Esto significa que no podrá renovarla y su cobertura dejará de ser válida a partir de esa fecha a las 00:00 h, por lo que cualquier reclamación posterior no estará cubierta".
Si tiene alguna pregunta o desea más información, estamos disponibles en el 912 75 55 55.
Supongo que nuestro error fue declarar un accidente leve cuando un vecino chocó con nuestro coche en la entrada. El coste total de las reparaciones fue de unos 500 € y nada más. Es la primera vez que una compañía de seguros se niega a renovar nuestro contrato por informar de un accidente leve que no fue culpa nuestra. Es mejor descubrir lo decepcionante que es Qualitas ahora con un siniestro leve que en el futuro con algo más grave.
We contractado full coverage through ING with Qualitas Auto. We were just informed that our contract (first year) will not be renewed without any explanation other than citing their policy. This is the message from AECS through ING: "We regret to inform you that, due to our policy, AECS has decided to cancel your policy upon expiration. This means you will not be able to renew it and your coverage will cease to be valid from that date at 00:00 hrs., so any subsequent claims will not be covered."
If you have any questions or would like more information, we are available at 912 75 55 55.
Our mistake, I suppose, was declaring a minor accident when a neighbor bumped into our car in the driveway. The total cost of the repairs was around €500 and no more. This is the first time an insurance company has refused to renew our contract for reporting a minor accident that wasn't our fault. Better to find out how disappointing Qualitas is now with a small claim than in the future with something more serious.

They helped themselves to money of my other account

When I renewed my yearly car insurance with Qualitas Auto in May, I changed my bank details. I paid for the whole year, as opposed to in instalments. A few days later Qualitias Auto helped themselves to €108.63 of my old bank account number and They sent me a notification again in November stating my trimestrial payment was due.
I didn't realise they had taken the money in May until I received the email in November. I contacted their Customer Service (November 19th) and was promised swift resolution of the issue. A week later I still haven't heard back.
As I didn't give my permission to use that bank account number, and as my car insurance was paid in full for the whole year, I want a refund immediately.

The worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.

Similar to the last review, accident in August.

I was provided with a hire car eventally, which I had to return two weeks ago, leaving me with only a motorcycle to transport my wife and three children. This means making four separate trips any time we need to go out.

When I contacted the repair shop, I was informed that my car is still sitting in the garage because the assessor has not yet approved the repairs. As I had received no updates, I had assumed that work was being carried out.

I was asked to provide copies of all documents on the 24th October, despite sending everything requested, I have received no further communication..

I emailed the company two days ago to request the complaints email address, as I have now reached the limit of my patience, but I have received no response.

This has been, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.

Car was hit during night of september…

Car was hit during night of september 4th (2025) declaration made the 5th. Today November 5th (2 months later) and still not repaired not even a date to get the car repaired. Already went to two bodyshops (given by them) to show the car and thrn it stops.

This is the worst insurance company I…

This is the worst insurance company I have ever had or seen. They are slow, delay payment as much as possible and one has to talk to 10 different people to find the right person.

I have a completely restored 1988 Ford F-150--everything is new with less that 42000 miles, yet the repair is based on the blue book value of the make and year.

Increased price for the second year, annulated insurance

Increased price from the second year

I contracted the insurance from Qualitas Auto having a driving license that expired after 6 months of being in Spain. I have a driving experience in other country from year 2007.

They prolongated the insurance even though the driving license was formally invalid and withdrew money 1 week and 1 month BEFORE expiration of the insurance, right after notification that I need to decide about the next year with Qualitas.

They increased the price by 150 euro even though I didn't have any accident in the past year. That made up ~530 euros for simple basic insurance.

Also, they said to pay 130 euros more after I sent my VALID spanish driving license with valid experience from 2007 year saying that they need to change the data and from now on the insurance cost is increased. The girl on the other side said she will annulate my insurance in 30 days if I don't pay. So I denied paying this sum. I called the company phone and checked if my insurance would have been annulated or is expiring in 30 days? The operator said surely no and my insurance is valid till December 2025. But in 30 days, 25 August 2025 I received an email that my insurance had just been annulated.

Definitely this was one of the biggest fail to have a contract with Qualitas Auto. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Happy to wait 3 months for minor repairs, with no courtesy car?

My car went in for minor repairs. They have given me no explanation for why it's taken three months to get my car back. I told them I have cancer and need the car for hospital visits. They do not care and have not apologised. They use the cheapest quality garages to save money. This garage owner was incredibly rude to me. Then told me it still was missing a part but I could pay and take it. Not sure that's even legal? I keep calling, keep sending messages and am ignored or cut off on the phone. I do not need this stress or having to take two buses each way to hospital during summer, let alone what the stress has done to my health. Not a single apology, explanation, compensation. Nothing.

Extreme price increases every year

I was with Qualitas for 4 years and saw my 'prima' increase around 40% each year - no motive or explanation was ever given, just a huge price increase.

This year the prima was almost 2.5 x more expensive that the first year I was with them - I have a clean drivers license and never made a claim.

Is this how you should treat loyal customers??

SCAM company

You pay an initial price the first year, and without any justification they keep increasing the price every year. +100% of the original price in 2 years.
Scam.

Prolongation issues Qualitas Auto Spain

Negative experience ((PÓLIZA 2024/53038XX) ..
This car insurance was bought almost a year ago. No accidents happened so can't say how they perform, BUT you'll be definitely be in 100% trouble when you decide to refuse prolongation. There is no simple way to refuse prolongation and believe me, Qualitas Auto make it hard way to reach the target. First of all Qualitas Auto Spain company has NO official email customer service to contact regarding prolongation (atencionalcliente_qualitasauto.com - out of order
marketing_qualitasauto.com - send no delivery replies , no answers). "Area de Clientes" on official site has no tracking of documents you sent to them or any communication features. By the way if you chose menu "renovacion" even pop-up window to upload docs is disappearing. The only options is to use WhatsApp chat (where customer service has no power to do anything other then to schedule a specialist call back !!!). Phone calls looks like ping pong when you tell you don’t want to prolong they say next operator call you soon (I have to admit my Spanish is poor, but I don’t want to have long conversations and describe why I don’t want their services anymore) FAQ has everything except “refuse prolongation” option.
As a conclusion : I’ve spent already 2 weeks unsuccessfully trying to get some actions or reply from Qualitas Auto.
Update: QA customer service contact me (next working day after this review was published) and canceled renovation.
