I love and hate this website at the same time.
They have ALL THE FEATURES you might need.
But they will also charge you from everything. literally everything is a CUSTOM FEATURE.
Every single custom feature requires another custom features. They set it up in such a way that every custom feature is set on another.
I think there is many features that should be included in the plan because they are extremely basic.
I pay 38 euro and this only includes 8 custom features. This is the standard+taxes.
Would I use this system if I had known from the beginning that all of the very necessary features are CUSTOM FEAUTRES. maybe... But for sure I would have had a look at other options first.
Their customer service responds very quickly but not necessarily useful.
like having a bookings website without needing one
i've been using Simplybook.me for about 5 months now and i'm enjoying the website-like "home page" and menu it gives you with lots of changeable design options. the customer service team is always available and responsive on the instant chat for quick explanations about how to do things so i'm never left guessing for long or having to google it. i've been able to direct clients easily to my page and secure lots of bookings with instant notifications, ease of paying through the system, cancelling and editing bookings etc. initially i thought a downside was that the basic option only gives you 3 custom features (and its hard to choose as there are so many good ones!), and i felt for the price i wanted more of them to be integrated and included. However they themselves just told me that by leaving an honest review (doesn't have to be 5 star or anything) that you get a free upgrade to the next tier which is standard - 8 custom features (or if you pay for standard and leave a review you get upgraded to premium with unlimited features) so that makes it excellent value for money and i'm very happy with it...
5 stars from us that's for sure!!

I have been using SimplyBook.me for quite a few years now, and it's been a very powerful and useful tool for my small business. I'm a tennis coach, and I use them for my school holiday camps. Parents find it very convenient and easy to book their children on my programs. Half-baked Features and bugs
I've been using this system for over 6 months and this is my honest take. Prior to signing up for 12 months, they were super helpful with my questions. But after that, they basically ignore complaints.
There are many "Features" in this system, but they are not really carefully thought out or have plenty of bugs. As a result, we opted not to use many of them.
I'll share a few:
1) Payment timeout: Although, we set a payment timeout limit of 2 hours, many clients received the payment timeout email is 5 mins or so. We have raised this issue many times, but they have not provided any viable solution so we had to work around it.
2) Buffer time: The system allows buffer time, but when linked to google calendar, the google calendar event duration INCLUDES the buffer time. This has confused clients who thought they had extra time at the end of their appointments
3) Time zones: Clients can set timezones from the front end, BUT if you make the booking for the client through the backend you cant pick a time zone for the client - leading to difficulties and confusion when making the booking
4) Packages: You can set a duration and start date for the package, but it affects WHEN the booking can be created not when it is scheduled. Example: On 1 Jan, a client purchases a package with a start date of 3 Jan. They cannot immediately use the package to make an advance booking and have to wait till 3 Jan to use the package. As admin, you also cannot apply packages for the clients.
5) Cache issues: Tons of caching issues. Clients complain of being logged out, unable to view their bookings etc. Again, we have raised this ticket many times, but they insist that it is not their problem.
6) Admin abilities - As Admin we can't make bookings outside of the usual schedule - so we have to amend the schedule, make the booking and revert the schedule, creating a lot of necessary work.
7) Google Meeting Links: There is no straightforward way to insert the meeting links into the notification emails...
8) Reschedule emails: The rescheduling notification does not state the previous date
9) Coupons: For fixed amount coupons, you cannot set how many times a code can be used for each client. Each code can only be used once per client which is very limited
10) ... and many more.
Overall, this system is not optimised for businesses where the admin makes the bookings for the clients.

I have been using SimplyBook for a month now, I have a hotel in Costa Rica and book many services for guests like tours, spa, yoga, transportation, etc and had been looking for a complete system that helped me manage all of these bookings and also let people book online. This is it! Wether you have a small or large operation, SimplyBook is amazing and the price point they offer compared to many other services I have tried or hired in the past 15 years is not even comparable, the best price for the best system no doubt! My Simply site has DISAPPEARED!
I've been using Simply for a few years now and was very happy with it and had good chat support when needed... until now. Despite being paid up until November 2026 (provable with receipt and bank statement) my Simply site has completely and without any warning DISAPPEARED! I can't access any pages and customers cannot book, I just get a 404 error page. There is currently no chat support so I have no idea if and when this will be solved! THIS IS A BUSINESS DISASTER!!!
UPDATE:
Yes indeed the next day everything was working again, but it was certainly down for way longer than 5 minutes. It was at least several hours and that is not ok for a service you pay for and expect to be available. I checked several other sites which use Simply and they were all working fine so it seemed like it was just my site not working. There was no chat support working at the time. I did receive an email the next day, but when you don't know why this is happening or for how long clients won't be able to book, it's very stressful. If you are going to do scheduled maintenance at least you could let your clients know in advance. It was around midnight my time when I posted the error, so not in the middle of the night. I sometimes get clients booking at that time and anyway I needed to do some work on the site, which of course I could not do until the next day.
