Glossy rubbish
Robot cleaner Sweeva fell apart after a handful of weeks. Stay away. A replacement of crap with crap is just crap
CHEAP HARDWARE
CHEAP HARDWARE. seriously. screws strip and cant hold anything for the life of em. youd think the people pricing this junk in the thousands would at least include durable hardware, but nope. you get plastic and sad excuses for metal. so disappointing.
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would - bought a 32 inch tv. It is unusable in the UK - pre loaded with endless US dross, but can not access any of the mainstream channels. Not fit for sale in the UK
Terrible tablet
Terrible tablet. It just keeps getting worse and worse. They wanted $25 for shipping plus it would have been another $25 to back up all my data to send it back for repairs. Based on past experience with them I am not prepared to waste any more money. Their service is also terrible. The "customer service rep" even told me there are not ANY phone phones for the customer service manager and I would have to open a case number and the person would call. No call back at all. I will NEVER buy another of their products.
This company has a "smoke and mirrors"…
This company has a "smoke and mirrors" approach to customer service. Their "technical support" has a California phone number that when you call it no one will answer and it will say "the mailbox is full." I've called 14 times and no help, I've chatted support Rica and got no help.
Ongoing warranty dispute and unresolved defects after multiple service attempts
This review is based on my real and ongoing personal experience with TCL Mobile Care.
I currently have two smartphones (TCL 30 SE and TCL 40 SE) still held by authorized TCL service centers, after multiple RMA submissions for the same recurring network defect, which has never been resolved despite repeated technical assessments.
The TCL 30 SE was supplied directly by TCL as a replacement for a previous Alcatel device. Under EU and national consumer law, the legal warranty starts from the date of delivery of the replacement, not from the original product. Nevertheless, after several unsuccessful repair attempts, I was informed that the device would allegedly be considered out of warranty.
The TCL 40 SE, purchased within the European Union, has shown the same network instability, again confirmed by repeated service returns without an effective solution.
What concerns me most is that I was warned that my case could be closed unless I strictly follow the “standard procedure”, even though both devices are still under service and the defect has never been repaired. From a consumer perspective, this feels like undue pressure, especially after numerous documented repair attempts.
My requests are straightforward and consistent with EU consumer protection principles:
– recognition that repeated failed repairs indicate persistent non-conformity;
– replacement of both devices with smartphones supporting 5G connectivity, dual SIM + SD expansion, and fast battery charging, as an effective and final remedy.
Due to the lack of resolution, I have formally submitted a complaint to the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM). The matter is still ongoing.
I am sharing this experience to inform other consumers and to encourage a more transparent and consumer-oriented handling of warranty cases.
Worst TV I've ever owned tried to…
Worst TV I've ever owned tried to return and Sams told me to get lost call TCL. Noticed they too quit carrying these the other day while i was there mine is going to the barn and maybe someone will steal it. ;-p
Misleading Info in Tablet Manual
I bought a TCL Nextpaper 14 inch tablet this week. I like the tablet but the User Manual appears to have been copied from another product and already I have found two examples of misleading information. The manual says holding the power button will bring up a menu. It doesn't, it simply switches off.
The user guide says: "Finding your serial number or IMEI
You can find your serial number or International Mobile
Equipment Identity (IMEI) on the packaging materials.
Alternatively, choose Settings > My device > Status
>IMEI on the tablet itself."
This doesn't work. I searched under Settings and there is no result for "International Mobile
Equipment Identity", "IMEI", "My Device", "Device" or "Status".
Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the packaging from my bin and have the serial number from this. Given the importance of the SN, a warning about keeping the packaging would have been useful.
And when I went to send a message to TCL about the SN number issue, I was asked to identify which tablet I had, but the list provided didn't include my model!
Updated 25/01/26
I got an email from TCL today which includes, "We would like to inform you that your case number TCL-3189792 has been marked as closed." This follows an acknowledgment email from TC on 18/01/26. But I havn't see a substantive response in between. So I am downgrading from two stars to one star. And I still don't have a manual that I can rely on.
TCL promised a refund on November 17
TCL promised a refund on November 17, 2025 after my TV failed in just five months, but I still haven’t been paid. Repeated follow-ups only get “in progress” responses. I missed Black Friday and Boxing Day deals and suffered financial and emotional stress. Very disappointing service.
Delay in Installation of TCL iFFALCON TV
I purchased a TV on 1 January 2026, and as of 7 January 2026, the installation is still not completed. This kind of delay is completely unacceptable.
Despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no proper response, clear timeline, or sense of responsibility from the installation team. When a customer pays for a product, timely installation is a basic expectation, not a favor.
The product delivery experience feels incomplete without installation, and such poor coordination reflects badly on the company’s service standards. I am very disappointed and would strongly suggest improving customer support and installation management to avoid inconveniencing customers in the future.
DO NOT BUY A TCL TV!
I bought a Roku tv manufactured by TCL in February 2023. It won't turn on now less than 2 years after I purchased it. The closest service provider is too far away so I have to throw away this tv. DO NOT BUY A TCL TV!
My husband has now bought 2 tcl 85 inch…
My husband has now bought 2 tcl 85 inch tvs from Walmart. Both times the screens were broken. The first one you could see it before putting it up. The second one you couldn't tell until after installing it an turning it on. We are done with it. We will try another brand and hopefully have better luck
Terrible and awful
I have a 75in q51k tv and i love it
I have a 75in q51k tv and i love it! I had a 65in samsung curved tv,this tv blows it out of the water! Qled the colors the brightness and the sharpness are amazing compared to my last tv!!!
Terrible picture and seems insecure
Picture quality is abysmal and dim. Won't sync with a PC at 4K resolution at 60Hz even though it should do.
More alarming it's running Android 12 on a 2025 product. Android 12 is no longer receiving security updates from Google.
Product is going back. Really though companies shipping obsolete software on new products ought to get prosecuted. They would if it was the hardware that was dangerous.
Thank you for ruining Christmas TCL
I am dissatisfied with my recent…
I am dissatisfied with my recent purchase of a TCL television due to serious quality and manufacturing issues. The TV cabinet is not properly covered, resulting in poor finishing and raising environmental concerns. When I reported this issue, I received an unsatisfactory and illogical explanation that did not address the problem. If air cooling is required, it should be properly designed to exit from the underside of the cabinet, which indicates a design or manufacturing defect.within just one month of purchase, the television stopped working completely. I was informed that the motherboard quality is not up to standard, which is highly disappointing from a reputed brand like TCL.
Overall, this has been a frustrating experience in terms of both product quality and customer support. I expect better standards and accountability from a well-known brand.
I very recently decided it is time to…
I very recently decided it is time to upgrade my TV and I was enticed by the TCL C7K 65" model, which I have now purchased from Currys.
While most things about the TV were great, I had a few issues that I then decided to raise with their customer support.
Their support agents were extremely quick to reply to me, however fairly quickly I hit a brick wall, where they just could not resolve the issues and informed me that all service appointments need to be lodged via Currys. This has been a complete shambles, as the information TCL have been sharing with me does not at all match that of Currys and now I am stuck between two big corporations that just do not give a damn and want to shake off all responsibility.
I was really looking forward to this TV but after all of this treatment I think I will just return it and look for another manufacturer that has at least some respect for their product and my time.
Do not trust their warranty.
Do not trust their warranty.
Purchased a TCL 98 inch TV online through the Walmart website in January 2025. In October 2025 I noticed a vertical green line on the screen from top to bottom. I followed the warranty claim procedures to the letter. At first TCL agreed to replace the unit after I presented proof that I had voided the UPC code. The day after I did that they claimed that Walmart had used an unauthorized supplier to fulfill my order and subsequently refused to honor the warranty. I am hoping the extended warranty that I purchased will cover this issue. Regardless of the final result I will certainly not recommend or purchase another TCL product. I have pasted an part of the final response showing that TCL acknowledged that I did purchase the unit online from Walmart but the supplier is not an authorized supplier. I fail to see how I could possibly know that fact. TCL could have honored the warranty if they chose to and dealt with Walmart regarding their practices. Instead they chose to punish me. This is a conscious act and clearly not the first time:
"Hello Donovan,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Eddie, and I’m with the Technical Support Engineering team at TCL.
I have reviewed your case, and I truly regret the inconvenience you are experiencing with your TV. After careful review, I must inform you that although the TV was purchased through the Walmart website, the actual seller was a third‑party vendor who is unfortunately not an authorized seller on our side.
Because of this, we are unable to assist with warranty claims, as the unit does not qualify for manufacturer warranty coverage. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and understand how frustrating this must be."
cheap chinese plastic junk with no replacement parts
Bought a TCL dehumidifier less than 2 years ago. While it functioned well, I broke the plastic water tank while emptying it. After 3 hours of time wasted including calling TCL support, I have determined that there are zero replacement parts available for this. So what should be a $20 - $30 part replacement is instead another ~$250 for a new dehumidifier, and this otherwise perfectly functioning unit becomes land fill.
