Got an e-mail saying 'sorry you're…

Got an e-mail saying 'sorry you're leaving' and another 2 mins later saying 'thanks for rejoining' and a bill for £29.99 which had gone from my bank account. I have no idea who velvetsupport are. I tried ringing but it cuts off after about 3 mins. Glad I found the discussion on here I am on my way to the bank to see if I can stop any more money going to them.

Have no idea how these people got hold…

Have no idea how these people got hold of my bank details but I seem to have £40 quid missing out of my bank account. When ringing to ask what this was for was told I had used a platform maybe fitness but couldn’t tell me exact. I informed I definitely had not. They said they would cancel my subscription which I never agreed to anyway but could not refund me. Reported to my bank as fraud who will now investigate. Bank says more and more coming through like this that’s you have no idea you have even subscribed as they ghost sites you may be looking at.

Stay well away!!

This is a complete scam. I was trying to download maps from
Open cannel maps when the process got hijacked by velvetsupport.com. They wanted £40 per month for something I had no interest in. Very untrustworthy site!!!

Double check before giving bank details that velvetsupport hasn’t deviously replaced the forms with their own.

I applied to open up an account with Vinted however Velvet support.com infiltrated my transaction with Vinted and scammed me by replacing one of there subscription applications (£40+ monthly) payable after 3 days. It was an extremely devious way to extract money unsuspectingly. They do not identify themselves until after you have filled out your bank details. Be aware when filling out your bank details that it is actually the company that you initially contacted.

Tesco Credit Cards Scam

Tesco Credit Cards a message popped up to ask if I wanted to download the Tesco App onto my phone, it seems that this is somehow linked to Velvetsupport.com. Fortunately Tesco are aware of this scam and contacted me and explained how to cancel this recurring charge for some nefarious customer support. Theyre reporting it the police fraud department.
