Good customer service and growing company

This company has grown a lot it seems since I have been a customer. My personal account manager Gyte is always happy to help and explain things overall I am very happy.

It would be even better if they offered an app or redesigned their customer dashboard to be more modern, it is confusing and not very useful sometimes. The direction this company is going I am sure this will happen in the near future :).

Shocking company

Shocking company, I would avoid like the plague. They processed some of our payments, then held onto our funds, and are forcing us to take them to a Lithuanian court to get our money back.

These are significant funds, it's incomprehensible how they think they can conduct businesses like this. It's been 194 days thus far. No chargebacks can be made after 120 days.

My previous review was removed by the…

My previous review was removed by the Cardinity administration, which is likely related to their recent customer service issues. Nevertheless, I have decided to share a new review because I believe it is important to communicate my experience to potential users and draw attention to some shortcomings, including misleading information on their website.

Cardinity no longer provides services to companies based in the UK, despite the absence of corresponding information on their website, where mentions of working with such companies still exist.

Below is an excerpt from the email received from them at merchants:

"Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

We would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused, unfortunately we have to inform you that Cardinity is no longer able to register UK based companies, for this reason we will have to stop the registration process.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and let us know if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Cardinity team"

Response times to inquiries are slowed down, which may indicate insufficient responsiveness from the support team. The average response time is between 2 to 5 days.

When submitting documents, it should be noted that the review process may take from 1 to 3 months. Additionally, there may be unnecessary questions unrelated to your business activities or terms of cooperation.

Inquiries related to the public offer may be ignored, although according to international law, a public offer must be adhered to. Information on the website may be misleading or incomplete.

After specific requests to correct information on the website, there may be instances of being ignored or receiving incomplete answers. In case of website information violations, legal action can be taken against the company in the European Court for misleading information.

Dear Mark,

We regret that you had a disappointing experience with our services.

To clarify the situation regarding the UK, as of January 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer part of the European Union. Consequently, as a payment institution, we are unable to accept new merchants from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Nonetheless, we strive to connect new merchants from the United Kingdom with suitable partners for acquiring services.

Unfortunately, in your particular case, we were unable to provide our services directly and could not identify an alternative acquiring partner to assist you. While we do advertise that we accept merchants from outside the EEA, we regret that we could not fulfill your needs in this instance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

Sincerely,
Cardinity

Unprofessional conduct, Extortion, Incompetence.

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with Cardinity that I feel compelled to share. After just two weeks of using their services, my account was summarily suspended without any prior notification. The lack of communication was astounding - I reached out to their support team immediately, only to receive a response nearly half a day later (which means someone had the time to suspend it at 8pm, but no enough time to notify me about it).

Their explanation for the suspension was vague and unsatisfactory, citing "inappropriate content" without providing any specific details or evidence. Instead, all I received was a cryptic screenshot of a page with videos. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue and provide evidence of legal compliance, including IDs for the referenced videos, Cardinity remained unresponsive.

To make matters worse, their representative or affiliate, Benjamin Velner from CCNetPay.com, approached me with ludicrous propositions. He callously suggested that my account suspension could have been avoided if it had generated more revenue and even had the audacity to propose a hefty payment of $25,000 to potentially reinstate my account. This blatant attempt at extortion is nothing short of appalling.

Subsequent communications with Cardinity and Benjamin Velner only served to highlight their lack of professionalism and transparency. When I sought clarification on the original complaint, I was met with deflection and dismissive remarks. Their assertion that the suspension was based on innocuous text posts without providing any evidence is simply unacceptable.

In conclusion, my experience with Cardinity has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their arbitrary account suspension, coupled with unprofessional conduct and extortionate practices, is deeply concerning. I urge anyone considering their services to proceed with caution. There are far better options available that prioritize transparency, fairness, and respect for their clients. Avoid Cardinity at all costs.

This revelation is profoundly disturbing. It suggests a willingness on Cardinity's part to turn a blind eye to illegal activity in exchange for financial gain. Such practices are not only unethical but potentially illegal themselves.

Or last 2 emails were even more ridiculous:

Cardinity/Benjamin: The disallowed content was within the text posts which were published, if such words are found by card schemes they will get fined

Me: Do you think it's fair or constructive that no one ever shared the original complaint with me (or at least some details)? Despite the fact I asked for it weeks ago? Google translated text of the post:

Subscribe to my account and I will upload new clips to you

Cardinity/Benjamin: I doubt this was the reason, there must have been something else somewhere on your pages…

---

The absence of card tokenization intensifies the challenge of high decline rates. Presently, we are grappling with an alarming 75% decline rate, exacerbated by imprecise error messages. On average, users face the frustrating ordeal of attempting payment 12 times before achieving success. Considering Cardinity's $0.30 charge per decline, this results in an average wastage of $3.60, plus an additional 5% fee for successful transactions, should they even proceed smoothly.

I strongly advise against engaging with Cardinity (owned by NomuPay). My lawyer has submitted a complaint to the Central Bank of the Republic of Lithuania. I will provide updates as the situation progresses.

I regret to inform others that I cannot recommend Cardinity based on my personal experience. I had opened an account for my company, and after receiving payment from a customer, my account was unexpectedly blocked. Additionally, Cardinity was unwilling to refund the payment to me.

Thankfully, I was able to request the customer to initiate a refund to their card, which ultimately allowed me to recover my funds. Upon researching further, I discovered numerous negative reviews online, which raises concerns about the reliability of their service.

Please exercise caution and consider alternative payment processing services to avoid potential issues.

Do not waste your time

Do not waste your time. The application went fast for us, so fast that we actually started to wonder if they go through our documents properly or not. Only that felt like a big warning.

Once you have sent in the requested documents, you will receive a Copy & Paste response that looks like this:

"Your business cannot exceed our risk limits;
Your company must be registered in one of the EU or EEA countries;
Your business type cannot be on prohibited businesses list;
Your service or product price cannot exceed 500 EUR. "

Should be said that we live and are registred in the EU, out of 6500 transactions in the last six months, we only had 5 chargbacks. Highest product price for one of our products are 350Euro. And don't forget that we only sell children's toys.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. Please understand that detailed process. We might accept your business based on your industry and country, but details about your business (like your business cannot exceed our risk limits) may witness risk levels that are red flags. I am sorry to hear that we couldn't meet your expectations.

RUN! TRASH SERVICE ,DON'T USE IT

RUN! RUN! RUN! TRASH SERVICE ,DON'T USE IT

Problem #1: you need 1.5 : 2 weeks to registered , they don't ask all documonets in same time .

Problem #2: They wrote in pricing page NO HIDDEN FEES ,this is wrong they have HIDDEN FEES , i will tell you some of them :
- Fees for EU/EEA cards is 1.7% not 1.35% as he said
- They take 0.25 EUR on declined transactions !!! not only accepted transactions ! , this is only service i ever seen take fees on declined transactions ... this is mean if your client tried to add funds 4 times and his transactiond declined , you lose 1 EUR for NOTHING!
- Fees on world wide cards 3.5% + 0.25 EUR , and he didn't said that in pricing page

- PROBLEM #3: they don't accept all types of cards, 50% of transactions get decline and you pay 0.25 EUR on every declined transaction !!!!

- PROBLEM #4: when you registare they will not request for you bank details , they will request it after your payments pass 9 days , and when you give this your business bank details they will say " Your provided bank account is not suitable for us " , after i received +550$ on my cardinity account they said " Your provided bank account is not suitable for us we can't send you money on it " and i loose +550$ with them because they refused send me money on business bank account which is legal bank account and i will pay taxes on it . ( if they don't accept some banks ,they have to make list of accpeted and not accpeted banks! )

RUN! RUN! RUN! DON'T USE THIS SERVICES
TRASH SERVICE! SCAMMERS!

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you have experienced any inconvenience. As per our policies and agreement acts, all the information relating to pricing and fees was fully available and known to the client. If the client chose to sign up for services without having read the contract they were signing, that is the responsibility of the client.
Since our services are only provided to companies registered at EEA (this information is available on our website, and is clear during the registration, as you can only choose one of the EEA countries of residence), payouts are too only made into EEA registered bank accounts. Clients are fully informed they require EEA registered bank account, personally, as the current client was informed too.
