I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store during my visit on January 6, and I want to highlight that the staff were truly amazing and provided excellent service. However, I was disappointed to find that while many promotional "on action" items were heavily stocked, several of the specific products I intended to buy were completely out of stock. While the store environment and team are fantastic, it was frustrating to miss out on my planned purchases due to these stock gaps, and I hope to see a better balance between promotional displays and everyday inventory in the future.

Legit website. Variety of products in stores and online. I particularly love their online delivery service. Also, the company is environment conscious and tries on reducing plastic packaging.

There are always a variety of vegetables and groceries available. Also the way it's laid out is easy to navigate. They also have season fruits and vegetables, that I like.

I have spent an entire day trying to buy REWE gift cards online as a gift for a family in need living in Germany, and the experience has been extremely frustrating.
The website repeatedly refuses my order without a clear explanation. I strongly suspect this is because I am located in the UK. The checkout form only accepts numeric postal codes, which makes it impossible to enter a valid UK postcode that contains letters. There is no proper guidance, workaround, or meaningful error message.
For a large retailer, this is very disappointing. Gift cards are supposed to be easy and accessible, especially when you are trying to help someone. Instead, the system feels outdated, overly restrictive, and unfriendly to customers outside Germany.
REWE should clearly state if international purchases are not supported, or update their checkout system to handle international address formats properly. This experience wasted a lot of time and effort.
