The Halo vision 3 box contain no instructions. It was not clear which Halo app to install (we needed road angle app with blue line) and even after doing so I had to sped 30 mins with help line to get camera connected to the phone. English was not the first language of the support helpline staff, but they were very helpful. The Camera does not fit well over the mirror and some of the camera footage is blocked out by the mirror mount. The mirror camera plays back some recording footage when you start up the car instead of allowing the rear view mirror. I would reconsider purchase purchasing this product.
After enduring the worst customer service experience with Road Angel, Manoj completely restored my faith in the company. His professionalism, clear communication, and genuine commitment to resolving my issue turned everything around. Manoj not only fixed the problem swiftly but also regained my confidence in Road Angel’s customer service.
I changed my previous Dash Cam to a Road Angel Halo front and back and what an improvement. Excellent video day and night whatever the weather it is spot on

Good customer service from the UK based office so I've upgraded the rating, rear camera issue is now being resolved.
Have had issue after issue with my Road Angel Halo Pro. Continually have a message "rear sensor abnormal" when I am driving and it's so distracting. Every time I email I get the same advice but surely I shouldn't have to resort to resetting the device every time I get in the car. Plus it lasts a few miles and then I get the same message about the rear sensor. I have phoned too but they cut me off if I go off script. The app is also rubbish and I can't view anything from the cameras. I have asked for a refund, to be told to approach Halfords.
I have already sent it back once but am not willing to do this again as I have no confidence in this device.
Dash cam is absolute junk. Should have bought a nextbase.
Works when it feels like. Records footage when it feels like.
Halo dashcam arrived promptly, and easy to set up. Unfortunately it stopped working in a few weeks. Contacted customer support and Gopal did a fantastic job helping me manage the situation. Eventually sent me a replacement part which resolved the issue.

Brand new Pure One unit failed after two weeks. I contacted support and they asked me to check if the power was turned on in my house!! What a joke.
really disappointed, been a custromer for many years, right from the first product released.
Great products [I have four devices] really poor support if anything goes wrong.
Ordered a front/rear dashcam plus wiring kit and an rear camera bracket early December with the goods dispatched on the 9th December via DPD. On arrival I found that the rear camera bracket had not been shipped and the wiring kit I had ordered was wrong (my mistake). I placed an order for the correct wiring kit and contacted Road Angel about the return and missing item for a refund. I was instructed to send the wiring kit back with a cover letter regarding the refund for this item and also the missing item.
Some time passes and I get an email stating the refund for the wiring kit was approved and would take 7-10 days to appear back in my PayPal account (why it takes a company this long to process a refund is anyones guess). I emailed on the same day thanking them for the refund but also enquiring where the refund for the item that was not delivered was. Much more time passes and no update so emailed again and this time after a few days I get another email stating that this refund is approved and again 7-10 days before the refund would appear in my PayPal account. 7-10 working days comes and goes and no refund.
The amount in question is only £19.99 so not exactly high value and the customer service in regard to this has been lacking.
I'm surprised that companies don't fully understand the impact that poor customer service and resulting poor reviews will have on their business....
UPDATE: Manoj from Road Angel customer services finally resolved this and processed the refund. Very apologetic about the missing item and the delays in processing the refund so overall rating adjusted to reflect this uptick in customer service.
Purchased RA halo pro (with Halfords fitting) October 2025.
Was fitted at Halfords with no home fitting option.
Halfords did not test after fitting as they didn,t have the app which is needed as there is no screen on halo pro.
After installing app it was found that rear camera image on phone was very dark and unable to read a number plate no matter how close.
Went back to Halfords after speaking to customer service.Was told that it was the angle of rear windscreen combined with slight manufacturers tint.Same angle and tint in front windscreen which was ok.
Sent downloaded video of dark image to R A ,was told to do various things to correct fault.Did not work.
Eventually RA sent me new rear camera.I had to fit it myself (after paying for inclusive fitting).
This was the problem,now resolved.
Whole frustrating saga took a month of unwanted hassle.
I had issue with ad card, did report it and Gopal was very kind and sorted out the replacement for me.

Brought the halo guardian dash cam and whilst the camera is ok on recording it doesn’t show the speed stamp (something needed for business purposes) customer service email once every blue moon when speaking to Gopal Kendapadi and still haven’t resolved the issue
Bough the camera in October from Currys after my old camera gave up...waste of money....road angel halo drive 2. After trying 3 memory cards, 2 of them official road angel cards and various ways of formatting ...it only records in park mode and does nothing when driving. Customer service is useless so now I'm stuck with a camera that is pointless...these cameras do not work out of the box and are really poor ...tell me how it can record in park mode but not when driving and their is no option to turn on loop record as it's automatic .
I needed some spare stickers for the base of the Pure one. Manoj Choudhary arranged to send me some foc.
Very good service, I am pleased with the device, it works well and once you get all the settings to suit yourself it works perfectly.

This is a follow up to my review on the 9th December 2025.
After posting my customer service experience here, I was called by a senior UK based management team member who was extremely helpful.
He clearly explained the issues and went above and beyond to resolve my problems, I cannot thank him enough. It is a shame the office offshore wasn’t able to be as helpful, but as I understand it, he was going to speak with their management team and advise further training.
I believe this was the case as subsequant communication with the offshore customer service management has been flawless.

I bought the unit but could not login as it asked for password so phoned a spoke to Alex Mangli who was one of the customers service he explained that the security rules have changed and you need do do this which he explained while on phone this allowed me to connect properly very politely and clear great service and fantastic product so happy

Poor product and endless broken promises.
2 weeks after purchase, is was told by road angel support the Halo 4k, is an obsolete product, I asked why it's routing all it's data via china, and was told that's who makes it, and an update was arriving in later in 2025 to fix that. That never happened. The product itself, the camera is good, but that's it, the app is absolutely horrendous, and Road Angel aren't in any rush to fix it, just keep making excuses and telling customers to wait for some mythical update, which turns out was just a ploy to get them to wait until the end of their warranty return period. This company has no ethics.
