Avoid this company

Avoid this company. Products you select are substituted for other products without any warning (one of which was nuts which is risky for allergies), the balloon we ordered was completely deflated as well. In total 4 of the items we ordered were either not up to scratch or substituted for other less ideal items. When I emailed to complain I was asked to share pictures of substituted items...when I did this I was told "we can substitute items", so there really was no need to ask me to get the pictures. I would advise against using this company. Very bad experience

Online gift card never arrived via email

Ordered a gift card to be delivered via email, said it would be sent the same day and it was never received. I sent an online form request (says a response takes 3 days) and tried to call the number on the website multiple times (keeps ringing then defaulting me to an answering machine). I've messaged on social media but no response. Awful customer service

Probably the worst online shopping experience I've ever had...

First order cancelled with no notice, on the morning of the delivery. I had ordered a week before. Cancelled due to ordering more than 12 of a specific bottle of wine due to bulk order policy. Fair enough if that's the policy, but make it obvious (I wouldn't have ordered if it flagged to me and it certainly wasn't obvious), and don't let people put orders through at all... or cancel them when they come in, not the morning of delivery, when catering for a party at home...

I re-ordered the following week for another party (for my sins) and they sent me the bottles (12) with a slight substitution, charged a higher price and removed the 25% discount that was meant to be on. This cost me an extra £52. I rang Sainsburys on the day (mid November) and to this date, I STILL haven't received a refund or a response about it from the company. Countless phone calls (easily 8+), 3 refund requests, 3 complaints submitted... still nothing, despite saying it takes 3 days to respond. Most of the staff I spoke with on the contact centre were great to give them credit, apart from one who lectured me repeatingly about the same point and wouldn't listen to me... I'll never shop online here again, after I've used the vouchers they give to me for the refund they owe me. Just awful

Great value

Arrived on time, good value, nice flowers.

The only issue was the checkout experience which wouldn’t connect to Apple Pay and was a little clunky… but worked fine with the pay by card fun functionality

Scam and really bad company

Sent me the lowest quality product, looks nothing like advertised, although customer service is responsive (they respond once a day through my night time) they are making I near impossible to organise a refund. They have gone from offering me a 2 percent discount to keep the product to a 30 percent discount to keep the product…. I just want to return it for a full refund (which they are saying they won’t do, the max they will refund me is 66 percent). Don’t buy anything from them

I cannot believe I’m having to write…

I cannot believe I’m having to write another 1 star review 4 months after I sold my property to someone who used Shoosmiths… not only was the process itself an absolute shambles on Shoosmiths side, they have now failed to simply inform the landlord of the land that the property has been transferred over to new owners, despite multiple requests. This means I’m STILL getting multiple ground rent bills and the landlord has to receive the details from buyers solicitor, which is Shoosmiths, in order to change. The landlord responded to me today “we STILL haven’t received the transfer document and until the buyers solicitor we cannot change anything. Also i have just just checked the land registry and not only has the property not been transferred with them, we also cannot even see a request pending to action this…”. Just the absolute worst counter solicitor to work with. Please someone contact me to get this mess sorted out!!!

The absolute WORST house buying partner…

The absolute WORST house buying partner solicitor I can ever imagine. 2 solicitors involved, both rarely respond to anything my solicitor sends over, one left and didn’t do a handover, we were all ready to exchange and as a result of the new solicitor knowing nothing we couldn’t, now we’re all ready again to go into exchange today, and yet again there is 0 contact or proactive approach from the solicitor, so many people chasing, none of them getting a response. We should have been in our house by now, these people have no concern for our situation, they keep extending the process, they are mentally exhausting everyone involved. The estate agent of the property we’re buying said “we used to recommend Shoosmiths…but we don’t any more for all these reasons!”. Stay clear, this has been going on 4 months now. I’ll be complaining to the law society once all this goes through

Installed on Thursday last week

Installed on Thursday last week, we're now Wednesday the following week and the internet lights never came on the box. The engineer said it should be on in 15 minutes and if not give him a nudge. I've been doing that since Thursday, been in contact with support a number of times, the department handling it doesn't speak with anyone, I keep getting told to contact the next day. Latest advice "it will be sorted by close of play tomorrow" when I say "it absolutely cannot go past tomorrow because my old wifi is due to expire" they respond "sorry I cannot guarantee that". I thought hyperoptic were meant to be an awesome company providing an awesome service? I'm close to cancelling this order and just sticking with my current provider if it's not fixed by COP tomorrow...

Absolutely awful experience..

Absolutely awful experience... I’ve had 3 trips Cancelled due to COVID-19 and all were refunded back to me within around 2-3 weeks of my travel date. Although Jet2 refunded my money back to MyTrip 7 weeks ago, and they will have had it in their account for at least 6.5 weeks, nobody can help me when I call. They just keep sending me away saying give it more time. I know the refund has been processed as I received a part refund (for baggage and seating) back to my account directly for some additional purchases I made with my own card, and they refunded the flights plus additional purchases at the same time. I’ve emailed them about 5 time’s and called them about 5 times as well. Finally today I speak to a supervisor who was friendly and helpful, he has now sent an escalated request to the refunds department (who don’t communicate with anyone other than by email...) and I am now waiting another week to see what happens, but currently they can tell me nothing and every other phone call I have had has been just awful........

I’ll never book through this company again

Second to none customer service

Second to none customer service from Tala and Victoria who has been helping me is great. They respond within 24 hours (sometimes within 1 hour!), help organise returns easily and even offered to take a look at the space we were putting our lights to give a view on how we could position them best!!! The packaging and products are also great. Definitely recommend
