Bought some cement and building sand from B&Q Dover. Decent store, well stocked, friendly staff and no trouble finding items, especially with aisle locations listed next to the product on the website after selecting specific store. Was a bit annoying being pestered by a double glazing sales rep on the way out of the store, but that's not B&Q's fault.

I've just bought a mattress and protector from Landofbeds.co.uk, it hasn't been delivered yet but after the initial purchase I was called the following day by a representative to confirm the purchase, as well as to clarify access requirements for the delivery of the mattress to ensure it can be brought to the relevant room without issue. The representative was clear and friendly, and communication from the company has been good. An approximate delivery date was provided and I understand this will be followed up/updated nearer the time with a more specific date/time window for delivery.

I found the web site easy to use and full of helpful information (and the all-important customer reviews), and I'd happily recommend this company to others looking to buy a bed or mattress.

It might sound weird, but I needed a barbeque in a hurry, specifically the fire pit barbeque that was for sale through this vendor. The price was extremely reasonable already, and I had the option to select tracked delivery at checkout. This turned out to be FedEx carrier, with tracking details and updates every step of the way. I ordered it Wednesday, it arrived Friday, which considering it came from Scotland and ended up in Kent, is flipping amazing. It was safely packaged,easy to put together, and as I said, extremely good value for the quality. Denny Shop saved my pork chops (quite literally) and I've no hesitation to recommend them to anyone else.

On this occasion my order was dispatched in two boxes, and the numpties at Parcel Force only delivered one. I emailed Rutlands just to let them know and very soon after received a reply saying they would chase it up with the carrier. The second box was delivered the very next day. I can't find any fault with this company whatsoever, even their web site is beautiful (I peruse its pages far too often), and I'm very happy to remain one of their loyal customers, of which they deserve to have a great many.

Informative email updates let me know when it was on its way as well as when it was delivered - can't fault the communication! I had the pleasure of meeting Bill (Tonetech founder) at the 2018 Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin, and he's a consummate professional, clearly passionate about what he does. Getting hold of quality guitar making and repair tools in the UK has historically been something of a headache and required either buying from the big USA vendor, some Chinese copy from eBay (God forbid), or various continental European ones (which following Brexit, has basically become as costly as US imports despite the geographical proximity). As such, it's very much appreciated and refreshing to have a long-standing and trusted UK company supplying these goods without silly mark-ups. The tool I ordered is exactly what I needed, was well packaged and is of sufficient quality to last me a lifetime if not longer. I can therefore give my full glowing endorsement of Tonetech as a company and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I write this review as someone who has bought veneers from WVH many, many times over many years, so I have some basis for comparison. On this occasion, I received the wrong thickness of veneer (0.25mm instead of 0.5mm). This probably doesn't sound like a big deal, and whilst is isn't the end of the world, it did delay work on the intended project by an additional week, as well as require me to chase up the correct order by email. To their credit, WVH were polite and responsive in their reply and sent out a courier with the correct order as well as a pickup of the incorrect one (hence three stars rather than one). I'd like to say this was the only time such an error occurred, but on a previous occasion I did also receive someone else's order by mistake (also rectified once I emailed them to notify of the error).

I have no complaints about the quality of the veneers themselves which are fine, and undoubtedly I will buy from WVH again in future, as they are probably the only major veneer supplier in the UK that is competitive. I just wish things on the packing side were a bit more attentive, at least on this occasion.
