Tinnitus sufferer.

My wife suffers from tinnitus & has found this device works well,not only for playing soothing music but also as an eye mask.
Her only “ complaint” is that she would like the charge display to be clearer, as its inside the cover & difficult to see, and it would be more user friendly if it could be left charging indefinitely,like a phone, rather than limited to a two hour maximum, as you need to set a timer to make sure you don’t exceed the maximum charge time.
Those things not withstanding she is very pleased with her Snoozeband.

My home is not a warehouse 😤

Repairman arrived on time 👍
Immediately told me the work would take longer than he had been allowed but said he would get it done👍
When he had finished he explained that the replaced parts had been packed and would be collected the next day. Unfortunately the supplied box was too big to go through the door. 😳
Next day the courier arrived. Tried to explain the situation but he understood very little English and spoke none . After a telephone call, in an unknown language , he simply left .😳
A week has gone by and I still have a huge box sitting in my home waiting for the situation to be resolved.😤
ScS , the retailer, have not replied to my contact form.
The polite young woman at Castelan ( who did speak English 👍) assured me she would expedite matters.
I eagerly await events.

Been with iD mobile for a couple of years and had no problems.
Was pleased that roaming in the EU was still included in my package —- unlike some of the big companies who invariably blame Brexit as they try to rip you off.

Be careful

I visited the Thurrock store & it was not something I could recommend.
The sales rep was a very jolly chap ,an act I believe that is used to deceive you.
Having decided on our item we were presented with several “ must have” add ons, such as insurance.
This is not uncommon so most people probably expect it & simply dismiss it.
However after dismissing one such item the sales rep said he would let me have it free of charge.
To cut a long story short I was actually charged for the item and had to complain to the head office to get the amount returned .
Another thing to be aware of, ScS do not accept any form of cancellation from a store purchase. If you decide to use them you would be better advised to try the item in store and then order it on line ,where you will benefit from more consumer protection.

Customer service excellent, product questionable .

The bulbs were delivered swiftly but unfortunately two of them failed within the first hour of use. Unfortunately I was less than specific with my complaint and the two failed bulbs were promptly replaced. I would rather have returned them all as I believe they are incompatible with my dimmer switch.
Still, excellent customer service.

Plants arrived too late in the season…

Plants arrived too late in the season to be of much use.
We had already got fed up waiting ,as both the original delivery date and a revised one had passed , and bought plants from the supermarket.
If the supermarket can get a supply ,even with the ubiquitous Covid excuse , I fail to see why Dobies couldn’t.

Damaged in transit.

Been using Elixir for some time and always pleased with the product and service.
My only complaint would be with the delivery company,Yodel
On my last but one order they actually e mailed me with a delivery day,which had never occurred before,& even though it was,I think, between 9am and 9pm ,it was better than nothing .
On my last order I now expected another e mail,but alas it wasn’t forthcoming & the parcel arrived unannounced. The driver,who I don’t think could speak English,thrust the delivery into my hands,got a signature on his phone & quickly disappeared.
Upon unwrapping I immediately saw there was significant damage but the driver had now gone.
A quick phone call to Elixer,who requested an image of the damage, and then an e mail apologising for the inconvenience and the offer of a refund or a replacement, you can’t ask for fairer than that.
So, 10/10 for Elixer but rather less for Yodel.

Non existant customer service.

Against my better judgment I recently booked a holiday with Thomson ( Tui) having previously decided
to never use them again due to the appalling attitude of their ,laughingly called, customer service dept.
This time around nobody else was offering the mix of flights and hotel that I wanted so I decided to give them another chance.Big mistake!
I received an e mail from them telling me that my outbound flight had been changed and merely given a
new flight number that obviously wasn’t a Tui flight.
No information at all as to who the flight was with.
I e mailed them ten days ago ,asking who my revised flight was with, a question you would think they should be able to answer immediately.
Apart from the auto reply ,which said that I should hear within five days, I have heard nothing.
My second e mail requesting an update has been completely ignored.
This company do not deserve the loyalty of the British traveling public and I advise you to look elsewhere to book your holiday,because as soon as you need help or advice you will be misled,ignored or lied to. I know because I have encountered all of these actions from them .
Avoid at all costs.

A poor experience.

34 days from order to delivery for one pair of trousers.
E mailed them several times but didn’t get a single reply.
Upon phoning ,the phone was answered by somebody that simply picked up the phone but didn’t speak.
Finally elicited a response from a chap who’s command of English was unacceptable for a customer service representative.
He couldn’t answer my question but promised to get back to me—— he did not.
My Customer service experience with this company falls far below even what is generally forthcoming in this country nowadays.
