Poor experience - pay a bit more somewhere else if necessary
I ordered two items (and paid in full for them) on 19 September. They did warn of a potential delay on the “processing order” e-mail, which came through a week after placing the order, but nothing indicating just how much of a delay! Two months on, parts that were supposedly “available” still have not been sent, two promised dispatch dates have come and gone without explanation, and therefore I opted to cancel the order. As some others have noted, "available" does not mean "in stock" and that seems to be where the problem lies. For reasons unknown they seem to be having huge delays on items they need to order in from their European distributors, which is probably most things. To be fair, the refund was processed promptly - perhaps because I went through Paypal. It seems from others here, this whole situation is far from unique and some have been waiting even longer.
Getting through on the phone to them is extremely difficult, their promises of delivery are not met. I’m surprised they can stay in business like this.
I’ve used this company in the past (eight times, I believe) but they have gone downhill rapidly in recent years. I absolutely don’t enjoy giving negative reviews to a small business who have previously been OK, but l will not be using them again and couldn’t recommend them to anyone else, regardless of how price competitive they may be.
