Just a nightmare from beginning to end😞
It's hard to know where to start. I found a great product I'd been after in the Black Friday sales. The price was good so after a quick chat online I made the purchase. Disappointingly I'd missed next day delivery, that's on me!
I was guaranteed the following day, it came and no confirmation. I messaged customer service to confirm and arrange for me to be there to accept. I received a call back to tell me that the warehouse had said the watch was damaged (after saying it was missing) and wouldn't be coming! They would source another for delivery the next day again!
I was called early next morning to say it would be coming the following week, unfortunately I was mostly away, so reluctantly mentioned cancelling the order.
I was told it would be sent by a store for Sunday delivery (next day) guaranteed...again.
Sunday came and went, Monday I checked and was told definitely today. I made myself available to accept delivery of this expensive item but again nothing.
After another call I was told almost definitely the next day, in the meantime Royal mail confirmed this, it appeared that the package wasn't sent on time on the Saturday.
Next day, finally the package arrived. The product was beautiful BUT had marks on the strap and was grubby! The protective wrapping was off and the box tatty! It felt extremely well demo'd.
I wiped the watch strap down removing the marks and grime! I assume of many people trying this product in store. Considered the discount and the aggravation I decided to keep the product, it was a close call. But I felt beat!
This was a special purchase for myself after a difficult period in my life, unfortunately it only caused more stress and misery. The watch is great but it was soured by what should have been a luxury experience as Chisolm Hunter claims to provide, It really wasn't.
I was told different things every time i corresponded with customer services.
There are many other companies offering the same products and I'd implore you to use them.
Sadly, I even found customer relations defensively trying to turn things towards blaming myself or things beyond their control! I just wanted to buy a product efficiently and easily. That's all, nothing more or less.
Absolutely no responsibility on their part, just blaming anything and everything.
Really sorry to be so negative as the team seemed ok but they are either seriously overwhelmed with issues or don't really care, either way it shows! I'm just giving my honest opinion of what was a really unpleasant and unnerving experience! There are even more issues to deal with but I think I've said enough for now.
If possible, please use an alternative business rather than Chisolm Hunter unless you have absolutely no other option.
I'm sure there may well be a response added saying they take pride in their work blah blah blah, not from my experience you don't.
Ultimately, next day became 5 days and the watch, although lovely in itself was below the required standard in the condition it came in.

The reply says that they'd like the opportunity to put things right if I'd like to get in touch and discuss it further!
How about someone takes the initiative to make contact directly if that is your aim. Rather than myself having to put myself out any further!
The ball is in your court!
