What a stupid marketing trick

What a stupid marketing trick. This company gives away free Father's Day cards in return for a five star review of a totally unrelated medical-aid device.

Yes, they've boosted their Trustpilot scores, but anyone trying to read actual reviews of HelpAlert's product/service can't find them. The first ten pages of reviews are all about greetings cards. I want to know if your product is any good.

This kind of stupid trick devalues your actual product. It comes off as a scam. I am reporting you to Trustpilot. Your marketing team should take down all the Father's Day related reviews. Don't repeat this stupid trick again for Christmas, Easter and Mother's Day.

Swiftly resolved appeal

I challenged a mistaken parking ticket (I had paid, and could prove it on my bank statement) and the fine was cancelled in 3 days. This was despite the fact I'd ignored the first letter and gone to Final Reminder. Thanks for quickly sorting this out for me with minimal fuss.

Terrible sales experience

Terrible sales experience, left me feeling totally ripped off by their lease deal. I'm pursuing a claim for mis-selling with the FSA. Robins and Day saleswoman made very specific verbal promises at the start of the lease which her colleagues wouldn't honour at the end of it. Shoddy. Avoid. Or if you do business with them, get absolutely every promise they make in writing.

(add note: 5th July) As you'll see from the comment below, R&D were quick to get in touch after getting bad reviews. Needless to say, nothing has happened in the two weeks since I sent them the details of my complaint. Useless bunch. Take your business elsewhere.
