Could not organise a Covid Test in a Pandemic. No idea about logistics.

I placed an order for an elderly person on 1st May for a mandatory Covid Test kit for her return from France on 15th May. The arrival date is a question that is asked so the order shows clearly:
What is your arrival date to the UK? 15/05/2021

The Covid Test did not arrive by 17th May and after 2 stressful calls to the elderly person from the government track and trace asking why she has not completed the test, I had to spend over an hour contacting TNT who confirmed that Randox IGNORED my mum's arrival date and posted the kit on 4th May for delivery 10 days before her return!

When I try to contact Randox, the website shows there is a 10 minute queue to access the site - even to see the Contact or About Page. It feels like a scam. Randox has no idea what they are doing.

I have emailed them but have no idea when the Testing Kit will arrive. This kit costs £175 which is an overly inflated rip-off. DO NOT USE RANDOX.

This has caused a lot of stress to an elderly lady and a lot of my time.

Kamile, in addition to making "improvements to both our website and customer support response times ", I suggest improving your business processes i.e. use the Arrival Date minus 2 business days as the trigger to dispatch the tests.

The NHS have now posted the tests as there was no response from emails and calls to Randox. I have requested a full refund but I have also had no response on that. Please can you organise this immediately?

It's taken over 4 months to receive my…

It's taken over 4 months to receive my whole order. Lots of stress over that time being given inaccurate estimates and then they cut their phones off at which point I assume this is a scam.

But the items eventually turned up. Prices very good but the worst execution.

Do not use NHBC

Do not use NHBC. There is no property inspection, the insurance/guarantee is worthless. This service has been created to give property buyers confidence that they have a warranty but it's nonsense.

NHBC effectively work for the building firms. They will cost me £25k+ due to signing off my building when I bought it new, even though it had no fire breaks so did not meet regulations.

Immoral behaviour, taking the premiums and giving nothing when the worst happens causing maximum distress. Every employee should be ashamed and know the catastrophic outcome of their negligence.

Phone now dead! Placed an order 4 months ago

Placed an order 4 months ago, received partial delivery and still waiting for the last items. No response to emails and now the phone number is dead. Have they closed down? What's going on? Awful service, DO NOT use this company to avoid the immense stress.

Absolutely depressingly awful holding on the phone yet again as I type. This time I get notification of delivery and in Addition Info it says Signature Required. No mention of customs and admin charges payable. Delivery turns up and driver asks for 103 on a 200 value order! He cannot give any breakdown or bill, just ready to accept the money. I now have to hang on phone forever knowing that this will result in me not receiving my goods and wasting more of my life.

I have wasted weeks of my life in the last 30 years dealing with the incompetency of UPS. Every time I feel like it's their first year of trading so they must have teething problems. They've been going for over 100 years!!

Funeral flowers - Cancellation with insufficient notice

This is the email I sent to Interflora after receiving an email cancelling my order less than 2 days before the funeral:

This is not enough notice. I actually spoke with a local florist who said they could take this order but I thought I would use Interflora for the network, reliability and reputation. What a mistake! Shockingly disappointing you cannot reallocate. Just awful.

Roca overpriced and floored products

2 expensive bath tubs both gave same rusting issue and cost thousands to replace. Heard same problem from others in my building.

Roca said they would replace bath but charged for delivery and no contribution towards waste, legs, fitting an making good which cost over £2,000.

Buy better quality or even cheaper product and a bath will last longer than 9 years.

Low prices, even lower speed

The servers are extremely slow at all times. Today is yet another day when they have ground to a halt. Out sites are currently unusable and support have no ETA. Their prices are very low but so is the speed.

I assume most of their client base are occasional users who do not monitor performance or uptime of their sites. It is not advisable to run a serious business using this service.

Sports Direct are conning customers.

Paid for 24 hour delivery as moving abroad in 2 days. Package does not arrive next day. I email Sports Direct telling them to cancel order.

48 hours later I'm abroad and get email saying package was delivered. Their contract says the 24 hour delivery can take up to 48 hours even though they plaster '24 hours' all over the website when you place the order.

I check with neighbours and they do not have it.

Email Sports Direct and they tell me it states in the contract the package can be delivered to a neighbour and there is nothing they can do! I told them it was NOT delivered to a neighbour but they have no concern.

Now getting refund from credit card. DO NOT use this awful dishonest firm. If you feel compelled to take the risk make sure you pay with a credit card so you are covered.
