Mass Marketing Spam - One Man Band - Highly Suspicious

Absolutely would not trust this co based on unsolicited mass marketing. They are just trying to cash in on AI buzzword bingo. We have received completely unsolicited marketing spam from this and 12 variants of this domain - stopped by our mail filters.

No reputable company would follow this practice; public director information shows he is 25 years old; which in the UK is only just old enough to be a recent graduate.

Interestingly; The individual also appears to hold directorship of 9 other organisations with highly suspicious co names - which have either been struck off - or marked as high risk profiles.

Take the risk at your own peril.

Yet more lies from Evri | Another Fail

Yet more lies from Evri. "out for delivery" and magic "We're sorry, we were unable to deliver your parcel today. We'll try again on the next working day". No delivery attempted. The "local courier" probably just couldn't be bothered (again). Avoid this company like the Plague. At least the Plague was efficient at actually spreading itself and killing people.

Cheap; I received dropouts/low call quality; but still OK

Uses EE network; no Wi-Fi calling or VoLTE, and I experienced frequent call drops, and poor call quality. Since this is a function of EE's network I was surprised by this; but I suspect due to the backend routing that Lyca utilises rather than EE's network. Perhaps check if you're in a good signal area before considering. Never needed to speak to a real human; port in and back out were actioned efficiently. Certainly a cheap contender if you need SIM only and you're in a good EE signal area.

I've been an IT professional for >30 years and used many hosting and registrars. I really can't fault Porkbun - one of the best for the buck I've experienced. Does just what it says on the tin; efficient; cost effective and good range of options.

Budget gym; non community / sales focused

PureGym is part of the new cheap breed of gyms which are primarily focused on getting as many sales and people through the door as possible. (I'm a PT and instructor with 25 years experience). Completely different from a community based gym. That said, the facility is clean, equipment is new and functional. Classes are generic versions of branded programmes generally but still effective. There are a lot worse facilities for the cost.

TERRIBLE. Verging scammers.

For some reason, signed up for what I selected as a Go account and was charged 79 for a card issue fee. Raised with customer service, and was told some rubbish about a 60 day cooling off period before I could change and fee was likely non refundable. Absolute rubbish it's a simple DB query update; poor customer service of broken promises. Verging on scammers and still no resolution.

Charged my card, then when queried kept sending the same template by email again and again. Then stopped responding to all emails. Reported to CC card company as fraudulent company.

Yet another lie from EVRI delivery drivers... "there was a problem accessing your address". You mean the delivery driver couldn't be bothered to even turn up? Or that he couldn't read? Don't even bother leaving EVRI alternatives, the won't take any notice. Worst delivery company IN THE WORLD.

Rebranded, still TERRIBLE in EVERY WAY

This goes to show, you can rebrand; but you still can't polish a turd. Cheap and VERY nasty. EVRI is probably the worst delivery company I've ever experienced in any country EVER. Drivers who blatantly LIE saying delivery attempted when no such attempt has taken place. Drivers who can't even be bothered to check if you're in or not. Drivers who ignore Safe place instructions. Can they even read or speak English? Packages arriving damaged, clearly thrown around and/or trodden on. No real people to complain to, customer service non existent. Avoid AT ALL COSTS.

Bad tasting products; vegan propaganda; other brands far better; poor value

As a fitness professional, I've come across a lot of protein/meal replacement products in my time. Huel is definitely one of the very worst tasting and expensive for the price point. Clearly the tree hugger woke brigade are the target audience. The product range is okay, but other high profile brands deliver equivalent or better nutrition without tasting disgusting. Further annoying is the marketing spam sent to my work address without my consent and no way to opt out without customer service. Vegan propaganda.

Good budget gym, clean, friendly and good range of classes

Puregym is one of the 'budget gym' chains which survived into the post Covid-19 era. Flexible modern memberships available for single or multi-gym access at reasonable rates.

Kit at the Blyth gym works as expected being brand new (Q1 2023), and while the gym gets busy, the app lets you plan your best visiting times. If you're a class person, there are a range of classes available from staff and freelance instructors which are safe and effective. PTs are around during staffed hours but had no experience of their knowledge, safety or coaching skills.

Changing rooms (as you'd expect new) are basic, clean and in good condition, with padlocks needed for lockers if you opt to use them.

My only negative is that the showers are set so hot they practically burn and you end up sweating more after a shower than when you started. Team: turn the temp down - they would still be hot enough and the club would be more eco-friendly and save more on energy use!

Just appalling. Rancid chemists, the most unhelpful staff you're ever encountered. Every one of their front counter staff need to learn how to deal with customers, and how to keep a retail store looking good. Using Lloyds Direct isn't any more reliable.

Don't Trust, Don't Rely On, Don't Use

Do not trust anything any VM customer service agent says - it's all lies - get everything in writing. Don't expect to successfully get through to anyone to assist - it just won't happen. There's a reason why "our wait times are very high at present" - because everything promised will never be delivered. Don't bother complaining, it will just be closed with a copy/paste template. These people are like getting Cancer, Covid-19 and monkeypocks at the same time. Go elsewhere if you can.

A REAL review. Cheap; good network via EE, poor customer service.

I am an IT professional who manages multiple mobile providers on a regular basis. My experiences of Lyca are - fast network (powered by EE); great so long as you don't need customer service.

Lyca is is a virtual mobile network in the UK which is carried over the EE network. In that respect you will likely receive good coverage and data speeds. Lyca offers VoLTE (Voice Over 4G), but disappointingly does not offer VoWifi (Wifl Calling) for poor signal areas.

However, customer service is just abysmal.

Clearly the call centres are non UK based staffed by non-English language speakers; who do not understand mobile technology and who have difficulty in deviating from 'script' or speaking to someone who knows what needs to be done.

Competitive insurance; little/NO customer service

Summary: competitive insurance; little/no customer service.

While Devitt Insurance may provide competitive prices to the market on domestic and commercial vehicles, their customer service is appalling. Some additional points for providing quick ways via their website for requesting NCD etc, but forget telephone them. Four phone calls, cut off on each one after around 25 minutes. No response from email to customer service.

I suppose okay if you want cheap insurance but never ever need to contact them.

Mostly stable connections / speeds, TERRIBLE customer service

Once connected, VM service is reliable enough, although subject to slowdowns at peak periods.
For the general public, their bundled SuperHub 3 is adequate, although advanced users will want to replace it. Customer service is probably the slowest I've ever come across in 25 years in the IT business. It just took over 2.5 HOURS to arrange a simple move between properties; so long the original appointment had to be rebooked. This not the level of service we should expect from any company these days regardless of blaming Covid-19. The choice, of course, is yours, but full fibre is increasingly becoming available across the UK and may be a better experience; just don't use if you want good customer services, as it's not the place for it.
