Worst company with poor customer service. Support agent don’t know how to help customer . Rude with zero knowledge and empathy. Been three weeks I am chasing proof of usage and everytime one or the other agent tell different stories. No direct lines to raise complaints.

Everything, bad signal, ordered a SIM card on the internet and it didn’t come and I have moved around inside and outside with little success.
This experience wasn't great...communication with LYCA MOBILE was poor and confusing...they didn't inform me when I had gone live....plus the very next day they reduced my tariff by 50%...TOO late for me alas!

SO glad I have left them. Terrible customer service. E.g. the online chat when you want to actually contact a human being. Always times out and they state I did not respond!! Charged me for a whole month even though I ported out the day after, no sense of doing the right thing. Often got no signal as well.

Very bad customer service I'm trying to solve my problem from more than 10 days but no response from any one I'm calling them daily but no use.. I lost my device along with the sim I don't have lyca mobile account login details and I don't have access to my register email I asked them to change my email address and asked for new sim with old number but no response.

Lyca mobile is never to be trusted!
I tried to buy an Esim (which was not a contract) from them on 01 of January 2026. The Esim did not work form me. I sent out cancellation email on that same day and received no reply. I kept on sending reminders for the cancellation of Esim because I wanted to make sure it was cancelled from their own end before the cooling of period expires.
Several times I called them, but their line is always busy. I believe they intentionally keep callers in the queue, because it can't be a coincidence that they don't reply emails promptly and do not pick calls as well.
On the 24th of January, When they tried to take their payments via direct debit, I canceled it with my bank and the payment didn't go true. This was when they responded to my cancellation email, and confirmed that they will cancel the esim from their end.
Fast forward to today 12 February, I am still getting emails from them to make payments for my February subscription else, they will spoil my credit history and refer me to a debt collector.
I am suing this company for not being transparent!
Lyca has no integrity!

I have purchased a 30 day eSIM, but despite their website stating that an email would be sent immediately, I have not received one. Without the email I cannot activate the eSIM, and their website has NOTHING relating to this problem. Their AI chatbot has been entirely useless in all matters, and having now looked it up, this email issue seems to be common, so the lack of information on their website is neglectful. I cannot sign in to the website or app, even with the email that I registered when I purchased the eSIM. Incredibly frustrating.

Bought an e-sim, but unfortunately the QR code, links and images sent via email to me to activate it didn't work. I spoke to customers services the next day, which took 20 mins to get through to. All they could do was send out the same QR code that didn't work. My only option was to cancel the contract. Don't do it, absolutely appalling.

Absolute useless on massive fraud issue, and allow fraudulent activity. Somehow someone managed to transfer my phone number from EE to Lyca and then managed to use the number and steal a lot of money from our savings account. I have raised the fraud alert with Lyca, who don't get back to your complaint, and when I did manage to get through to an agent, they didn't believe this could happen and told me they had no fraud team. EE is waiting for Lyca to respond to them to get the number disconnected and back to us. Their customer service is beyond terrible and the lack of support even more so. A few thousand pounds and stress may not seem like much to a big company, but it does the normal person. Do better.

UPDATE : I have contacted Lyca Mobile at their Trustpilot email address, reiterating my issues listed in this review, they replied saying that they were sorry about my experience and asked for my Handset make & Model, Handset IMEI, Internet speed & location so they could investigate why I had lost access, it then because obvious that neither my review or my email had been read. IT WAS THEM that cut my Internet access because I reached my data limit on my "Unlimited Data' plan UNBELIEVABLE. ###. Dreadful company, I have had an Unlimited data, txt & call SIM card from this company for some time, yesterday my internet speed dropped to 0.51 Mb/s I tried to contact Lyca Mobile by phone and after a very long time on hold was told by the representative that I had exceeded my limit of 450GB ! I was dumbfounded, I was told to check the T&C on Thier website, which was impossible because by then I did not have ANY internet access, I went to a friend's to use Thier computer to read Lyca Mobile's T&C, I am here to tell you all that there is NO Mention of a cap of 450GB on Thier unlimited data Sim, all it says is that they can stop your access if your usage is Unreasonable and apparently over 450GB is unreasonable, NOWHERE does it state that there is a 450GB limit. This only became an issue when I joined Amazon Prime and started streaming Films & TV series via this SIM card. How on earth the rest of this companies customers put up with this is beyond me. If you offer an "Unlimited data sim" it should be Unlimited. They should rename Thier "Unlimited Data" SIM the 450GB data Sim that would be fair to Thier customers and Save the Customer service people in the Philippines (who's English language is limited) from just repeating go to the website and read the Terms & Conditions. In conclusion I am appalled.

I have been the victim of identity fraud. I only found out through checking my Experian account. One item was a large purchase with Lyca. I have tried to get some acknowledgment from them, speaking with customer services and emailing their fraud department twice, with response they will reply within 2 days, first reported 21/1 and again 28/1 still not had reply. ( And performed credit check on me back in august without my permission). Maybe this will spur them into some action

I am using a Lyca SIM card with a monthly plan, last month my payment debit card stopped working. Hence, I tried to remove it and replace it with another one, but it failed because “Renewal is already mapped for the given card” as the system said, I have been charged twice because I didn't get data for the internet last month even though I received a message that my plan has been auto-renewed. I paid again to get data, and I called customer service today to ask for a refund, but they said I can't get a refund after my plan has expired.
So, I couldn't replace my debit card and I didn't get a refund.
Finally, there is no support or anything the company can do if someone experiences number spoofing (they told me to change my phone number only).

Not allowing me to renew my data plan when I exhaust it until it gets to the exact date it is supposed to be renewed is like Stone Age logic. You are making me pay for data bolts which profits you more at my own expense. The services doesn’t look customer focused.

Tried to bring my number across this morning via a phone call to Lyca. I gave all the information to the operator only to be told it’s incorrect, I gave her precisely what she asked only to be told it’s incorrect and to call back. Got better things to do than sit in another phone cue to talk to someone. Now leaving them and taking my business elsewhere!

Thanks for your reply, I have mow tried my last bit by contacting Lyca on all social media platforms because I am fed up with your email department and Customer advisors, who know nothing except advising to please ait for 24 to 48 hours and then nothing happens after these hours. I asked them, its been 48-72 days I am waiting.

Fraudulent Lycamobile account opened using my details. Reported on 5 December 2025 and still unresolved.
Emails bounce back because their mailbox is full, so I couldn’t even send requested documents. Meanwhile an incorrect default has damaged my credit, causing my mortgage to be rejected and a property purchase to fall through.
No responses, no accountability. Case now escalated to CISAS.
