Ordered a knife from them but not delivered

Ordered a knife from them. I received a shipping notification but no delivery was received. I have emailed them numerous times and received no response. Appalling customer service and I will be contacting my credit card card to get them to pursue a refund.

Cheltenham Store

I love having a Go Outdoors store in my local town but it is smaller than the other nearest one and so does not have some things I am interested in like cycling and camping equipment (there is some of the latter).
The staff are always very helpful and there is a good range of clothing.

Very happy with service and deal

I ordered a Kia Niro EV via Car Leasing Made Simple. The person I dealt with was Louise McDonnell.
The experience of getting a quote, placing an order and accepting deliver was painless and Louise kept me informed of progress throughout.
The car was delivered on the agreed date and I got a great deal so I am very happy to recommend Louise and Car Leasing Made Simple.

Hiplok Switch = ideal for my needs

I had my eye on a folding bikelock for a while. My D lock was just too bulky to put in my gym bag and I had no way of mounting it to the frame. The bottle cage boss mounting system of the Hiplok Switch looked ideal so as Hiplok were offering a £15 discount I took the plunge and ordered. The lock was delivered in a couple of days. The mounting bracket was easy to fit and the lock sits in it securely. The lock itself is sturdy but easy to use. I can easily lock the frame and rear wheel to a Sheffield Stand. It seems ideal for my purposes - locking the bike for a couple of hours outside the gym and in town.

Very swift delivery and the driver made sure someone was in rather than just leaving it on the doorstep. I have had some issues with other couriers recently so this was great by comparison.

Order not received

This review is more about Evri, the company that Chain Reaction use for deliveries. I ordered a new tyre on 28th December 2022 with the hope of using it on a ride scheduled for 7th January 2023. Evri have had my package for well over a week and have not provided any indication of why it is delayed and when (if?) it will arrive. I was sent an email asking about my experience with Chain Reaction - maybe they should check whether deliveries have been received before contacting customers.

Giffgaff beaten by Smarty for VFM.

I have been with Giffgaff for quite a few years and it has been an ok experience. Now the value for money is starting to look poor compared to the likes on Smarty. £10 spent with GG gets me 10GB of data which is sometimes not enough for my relatively light usage. Smarty offer 30 GB for the same amount which would comfortably last me the entire month and, if I my data use only hits a lower tier I would get a rebate.

Easy and good communication during the process

A couple of months ago I received an email from my current supplier (Eon) informing me of a price rise. I was not happy with that so looked at switching options and found recommendations for Look After My Bills. I signed up and the switching process went ahead. The level of communication was spot on - at each stage I was told what was happening and what I needed to do. I am now on a cheaper tariff and know that I will be told of cheaper deals in the future without having to go out and chase them.

Fun in the Forest (of Dean)

Did the course in the Forest of Dean with my 11 year old daughter. It was a bit chilly at the start but soon warmed up.

On arrival we were greeted promptly and given forms to read and sign then our instructor (Jenna) fitted our harnesses and explained how things worked. She was very friendly, patient and made everything very clear.

On to the course and we went round without any issues. Everything was well maintained and Jenna kept an eye on us for the first section.

There were some challenging sections but there were options to bypass these if desired.

Overall a very enjoyable and safe couple of hours in a beautiful setting.

May return to try the Segway riding using the discount code on the back of our certificates.
