Massive order delays and a UNEXPECTED 30% hit on customs tax on top of other costs (shipping)

MASSIVE DELAY the order was in Feb 8th - finally delivered on 27/03 (1.5 months) although it says 10-15 days delivery on the onset.

MASSIVE HIDDEN COSTS: shipping cost of GBP20 was paid upfront within the GBP190 paid but UNEXPECTEDLY(not mentioned anywhere) UPS delivery charged GBP56 pounds more (30% more)

Lamptwist kindly refunded for GBP8.5 for the lateness of the delivery. But never mentioned about the customs tax and brokerage fees that UPS charged on top.

it was very smooth and straightforward. I got the qoutes and paid and that was it.

Very helpful and knowledgable staff member. She did her best to resolve our problem and also suggested to have a smart meter.

I bought a Soul 300 (treetop) tent on 14/-06/2023. The despatch arrived on time. The tent was as mentioned very light to carry/very practical to set up (7 mins), very spacious. The pegs could be improved as they bent rather quickly. I had an issue with the back post. VANGO after service was outstanding, and immediately posted a replacement post without asking for any evidence/picture, trusting my word. I am well impressed with VANGO team and its products.
