Review of Shawbrook
Sorry not great. Got sent an e-mail asking me to log in and read my messages but when I did nothing there and all the documents over the last few years also disappeared. Please get your web site sorted.
Review of The Telegraph
Subscribers now cannot enter the competitions due to a "technical error" Phoned now three times during a ten day period and still not fixed. Appalling service, take your money but do not provide the service.
Update. The web site has now been fixed. Thanks. The power of Trustpilot???
Review of Argos
Do not buy any large goods from Argos as their e-mail receipt will not be accepted by insurers. We have put in a claim to our insurers for white goods and they have asked for proof of purchase. However, they will not accept the e-mail receipt as proof as it could have been altered. Argos do not provide other receipts other than the e-mail so we are in a position of having a £300 claim potentially rejected.
PLEASE SEE RESPONSE FROM ARGOS BELOW.
This is a joke as have tried to message them on Facebook but because of the questions they ask it keeps sending me round in circles and asking for the same information numerous times. You cannot message them if your query is not about faulty goods or goods that have not been received. Please can we have a customer services number that I can phone and not the usual one as tried that yesterday and was told that they cannot help. I need to speak to someone that CAN help.
UPDATE
Despite giving them all the information they requested via their Facebook page no response received. I also e-mailed their Customer Services and guess what again no response. Saintsbury's should be ashamed. What a dreadful company.

Review of Wickes
Wickes designed and installed a bathroom for us a couple of years ago. It cost over £4K but over Christmas the hinge on the toilet seat broke. However the model of toilet they sold us is no longer stocked and to quote them "Unfortunately, this items is not longer available and we do not have any spare parts, Nor are we able to source any from the supplier." We have looked everywhere but the hinges cannot be purchased anywhere and the toilet seat is of such a deign there is no replacement so we will end up having to replace the complete toilet. What a shambles of a company so please be aware DO NOT purchase any bathroom from Wickes as you might be in the same position as us and despite an outlay of £4k might have to find more money to replace their units.
I have just noted the reply from Wickes does not get me one inch forward, they supply goods, install them and then NO aftersales service and the purchaser is left having to buy new fixtures. I repeat DO NOT BUY FROM WICKES BATHROOM FIXTURES. You will end up having to replace them entirely all for the cost of a £15 hinge which they should ensure they stock.

Review of Utility Point
What is the point of Utility Point (or its administrators) asking us to enter details of our meter readings when the Utility Point web site is not working and you CANNOT log in
Review of Utility Point
Beware this firm takes a higher direct debit from your account and does not refund the excess. Utility Point took £60 plus more from my direct debit that they should have. I phoned them to tell them they had taken more money that what was agreed, they accepted that it was their fault that they had taken too much money from my account and would refund it within 10 days. They apologised and said yes it was their mistake. I phoned them on numerous occasions to check that they were refunding me the difference within ten days. Each time they said yes. Well guess what ten working days have now gone by and no refund into my bank account. I then phoned and they said it would now be another ten working days (making 20 plus working days) before I got my money back which they had "stolen" from my account. I said that I wanted to speak to someone higher up. They assured me a manager would phone, guess what no phone call.
My only conclusion to all this is that they are having real financial problems so perhaps this is another energy firm shortly going into liquidation. You have been warned.
Just seen their standard reply below to criticism but they have all my details already and despite promises to phone no phone call received.
UPDATE
Despite me sending privately to them my e-mail and phone number nobody has been in contact. I have now contacted my bank and they are taking it up via the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme

Review of Suttons
Got an e-mail saying my dahlias were in stock so ordered them. Took my money but now say out of stock. E-mailed five times to ask when they would be available. No response but have still got my money and no goods. Why cannot they respond to E-mails?
Review of Robert Dyas
Ordered a lawn mower two weeks and should have been delivered yesterday but got an e-mail now to state that they are out of stock. Their web site still says they are available. So they have had my money for two weeks but no goods. Beware that if you part with your money they may not have the goods and their on-line chat is incredibly poor as they never seem to respond
