Read the small print

Read the small print, it's been 13 weeks since I finished the course and still no certificate. Apparently you can wait up to 12 weeks to get one. And when it still hasn't arrived by the 12 weeks you will get the palm off. Had I known it was going to be this hard to get the certificate from this company, I wouldn't have wasted 3 months doing the course - If I ever get the certificate, it's going to be too late to use for the job I wanted - shocking service

Literally may have saved our lives

Literally may have saved our lives - had 4 brand new tyres fitted by Formula 1 Autocentres. I checked tyre pressures before setting off on 12 hour drive only to find one nearly flat - I returned to F1 Autocentres only to be told to come back NEXT week! I drove straight to KWICK FIT who showed me the rim was leaking and fixed the fault in 10 minutes - well done KWICK FIT I will use you in future

Poor customer service and faulty goods

Purchased full set of Goodyear tyres in preparation for very long journey (in excess of 12 hours) found one was losing pressure - on return to formula 1 was told they couldn't do anything until the next week - so I have now had to go to another garage to have tyre sorted as my trip is tomorrow and I can't cancel. Shoddy workmanship, cheap valves and poor customer service
Ps - just left KWICK FIT in Wisbech who showed me how the rim was leaking - they removed and resealed in 10 mins and didn't charge - well done you guys

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE - I ordered 3 pairs of ORTHOTIC shoes - what I got was 3 pairs of unbranded cheap foam type fakes with no sizing and NOTHING ORTHOTIC ABOUT THEM! I tried to return them and they delayed OFFERING a 30% refund and told me to give shoes to charity, I refused, then a week later a 50 % refund and give shoes away, I finally got a returns address and posted the shoes straight away. It's now been 8 weeks and NO REFUND FROM THEM despite them having the shoes back 4 weeks ago - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

For the situation you mentioned, it generally does not happen. According to our return process, once you return the shoes to the address we provided, the refund will be returned to your original account through the original method after we receive the shoes. There is no situation where we intentionally did not refund. Perhaps there were some misunderstandings in our communication, you can contact our customer service, and we are willing to answer your questions.

Stunahome has a complete return process. Unsatisfied products can be returned, exchanged, or refunded.Our customer service will send you the return address, but we also need your cooperation.

17 months of misery - had to jump ship

After 10 months of waiting for replacement of faulty economy 7 meter and promised compensation for being overcharged at an extortionate rate I changed companies and had a meter within 10 days - please be aware, nobody communicates in this company and everytime you contact them they ask for evidence and photo's but don't share this and you never get the same person twice or call backs as promised - it's a continuous cycle of misery and torment - avoid like the plague

"FREE" CAR PARK " ??????

Parked in FREE CAR PARK- to visit carpet shop on-site. I needed to use the toilet, none on-site! Left to use a toilet and returned to ticket. No signage readily available, nothing on the perimeter to say don't leave. Later found UKPC employee was sitting in a car waiting to catch people out - (they could very easily have made people aware) I appealed but they came back saying I had claimed someone else was driving - I DIDN'T! They said re-appeal - which I did and heard nothing for 18 months, I assumed they had seen sense and cancelled the ticket. I then got a court order which I again appealed, but CCBC (court) awarded them £288 by default saying I hadn't appealed despite me sending proof that I had . I now have CCJ and a huge fine for a FREE CAR PARK !!! BOTH UKPC AND CCBC have ignored my appeals and just pushed through the fine. As a result of this ticket the carpet company lost in excess of £9000.00 in sales thanks to UKPC cowboys - I hope the carpet company is impressed with their free car parking provision. I certainly won't be going there again !

Total let down

Ordered a floor scraper whilst builders were working here 3 weeks ago - ordered SEVERAL extra unnecessary items to more than make up for free delivery. I only got the unnecessary items and not the one thing I desperately needed for the clean up- after several messages/emails that were ignored I got one message to say it's coming on a separate delivery and then I phoned to be told there was a problem with the address and that the item was at the depot - now they emailed me saying they were refunding the floor scraper price - so I'm left with the stuff I ordered to make up for the delivery and NOT THE ITEM I NEEDED - NOT IMPRESSED

Buyer beware - use PayPal to purchase items

Sent incorrect item then wanted to charge me 20% restocking fee plus postage to return item. Fortunately I purchased through PayPal who got me a refund. - its taken over a month to sort this out. They also told me I had to cancel the PayPal dispute before they could pay me ???? This turned out to be rubbish

Hi Debbie,
I can see that you ordered a Gledhill Replacyl stainless steel vented cylinder - with an indirect connection (114 litres).
Gledhill send out cylinders directly from their warehouse with free delivery. When a customer orders the wrong item and wishes to simply return it, they charge a 20% stocking fee which is stated very clearly in the terms and conditions. The re-stocking fee that Gledhill asked you to pay worked out as £32.58 which considering the expense of delivery and collection really isn't unjust.
I understand that the cylinders are technically complex items and that after several emails and phone calls to determine what the extra connection was for, you decided that you thought that the description was not clear enough on our website and wanted to return the item. When a customer pays through Paypal and starts a dispute we cannot process a refund. You were forwarded the email from Paypal reiterating why we asked you to cancel the open dispute as Paypal automatically refund via their system, not ours and a refund simply cannot be processed. I'm not too sure why you have stated that this is rubbish as you did cancel the dispute as requested, and we have refunded you. We even asked Gledhill to waive the 20% re-stocking fee which they have done.

Our customer service team have been in constant contact with you and really made a lot of effort to help you - so the negative feedback is really quite unwarranted.
