a few years ago, when i hadnt come out and my mom was a lot more homophobic than she is now, for some reason the talk of adopting kids came up
cant remember why but my mom said “its complicated” when i asked her why she thinks gays shouldnt adopt, and when i asked her why its complicated, she was silent for a good three minutes and never responded
sometimes they try to say that “gays shouldnt have rights” isnt their own opinion, just a political fact !
