"Clickup - is it the best?"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Personally, I really like ClickUp's board view and its "Me Mode," as it helps me stay aware of all my tasks at all times. I can also easily customize the columns to display only the ones I want, which is something I really love.

I also appreciate its automation feature (ClickUpBot). For example, if I forget some tasks from a previous sprint, it automatically adds them to my current sprint. It also helps automate task status updates.

Additionally, ClickUp provides excellent support. A couple of days ago, I got stuck on some issues, but I was able to find solutions easily through its forum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp can feel congested at times because, personally, I think there are too many things in one place. It can be hard to figure out exactly what I need. They should provide some basic training or resources to help new users understand the platform more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The powerful, all-in-one platform that became our agency's central nervous system."
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I appreciate most is that ClickUp delivers on its promise of being an "all-in-one" solution. Before ClickUp, our team was juggling Asana for tasks, Google Docs for project briefs, Miro for whiteboarding, and Slack for communications. Information was scattered, and "finding the latest version" was a constant struggle.

ClickUp has successfully consolidated all of that into a single, unified workspace. The ability to create a task, attach a ClickUp Doc with the full brief, have a conversation in the comments, and then visualize it on a Board, Gantt chart, or Calendar view without ever leaving the platform is a game-changer for productivity.

The hierarchy (Spaces > Folders > Lists) is incredibly powerful for organization, allowing us to structure everything from the entire company's goals down to an individual's daily to-do list. The level of customization with Custom Fields and Statuses means we can tailor workflows for different teams (e.g., our dev team's sprint process looks very different from our marketing team's content calendar, but it all lives cohesively in ClickUp). What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The flip side of its immense power and customizability is a steep learning curve. For new team members, the sheer number of features and options can be overwhelming at first. It's not a tool you can master in an afternoon; it requires a commitment to proper setup and team training to unlock its full potential. Without a dedicated "ClickUp champion" to guide the onboarding process, teams can easily get lost.

Additionally, while the performance has improved significantly over the years, the platform can still feel a bit sluggish at times, especially when loading complex dashboards or views with thousands of tasks. The mobile app is fantastic for checking notifications and capturing quick tasks on the go, but for heavy-duty project management, the desktop app or web version is still far superior. "Streamlined Our Workflow, But Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp has been a game-changer for our team’s task management and cross-functional collaboration. The flexibility to create custom statuses, views (List, Board, Gantt), and dashboards allows us to adapt it to our internal processes smoothly. Automations, nested subtasks, and integrations with tools like GitHub and Slack have significantly improved our operational efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Productivity and Project Management"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp has completely transformed how our team manages tasks, projects, and workflows. Its intuitive interface, customizable features, and all-in-one platform make it a standout tool in the world of productivity software.

What I like best about ClickUp is how everything is in one place. I can manage my tasks, set deadlines, create checklists, track time that spend on each task and even chat with my team without switching between different tools. The different views like list and board make it easy to organize work the way I prefer. It also helps keep my team on the same page, which saves us a lot of time. Overall, it just makes work feel more manageable. Another important feature of clickup I mostly like it INBOX & TASK-TRAY. Easily able to track changes of any task within inbox/notification and pin important task within in task tray.

Implementation I quite easy and straight. Setting it up for our team didn’t take long. We started with the basics and gradually added features as we got more comfortable. The onboarding guides and templates really helped. It took a bit of getting used to at first because there are so many features, but once I got the hang of it, it became very easy to use. The layout is clean, and I like how I can customize things to match how I work.

Overall, ClickUp has made managing projects and staying organized much easier for our team. It's flexible and fits well into our day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first. There are so many features and settings that it takes a bit of time to figure out what you actually need and how to set it up properly. Sometimes the interface feels a little cluttered too, especially when you have a lot of tasks and views.

But my overall though, once you’re used to it, those issues become easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy to use tool that brings clarity and momentum to our projects"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp has become our go-to for project and product management. From streamlining team collaboration to keeping complex deliverables on track, it’s made a noticeable difference in how we work. The built-in AI notetaker is surprisingly useful, especially for summarizing meetings and saving time on follow-ups. We also love the ability to publish clear, structured release notes directly within the platform, which has helped align internal and external stakeholders. It’s easy to use, flexible, intuitive, and packed with features that actually make a difference, not just tick boxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Not a dislike, just a price plan realization that there are limitations on the levels of customization - colors, etc. This is available on higher price plans, but as a start-up, these are a little out of reach for us at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Project management and bug tracAll-in-One Project Management for Modern Teamsking on finger tips."
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like best about ClickUp is how seamlessly it adapts to our team’s unique workflows. With over 20 team members using it daily — including QA, developers, designers, and leads — it keeps everyone aligned without feeling overwhelming. The flexibility of views (List, Board, Timeline, etc.) lets each person work in the way that suits them best, while still contributing to a unified process. We especially love how tasks, docs, sprints, and goals are all interconnected — it saves us from juggling multiple tools and keeps collaboration transparent and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

What I dislike about ClickUp is that its greatest strength — flexibility — can sometimes become a double-edged sword. With so many customization options, it’s easy for teams to over-engineer workflows or create inconsistent structures across projects. For our 20-person team, onboarding new members takes time because there's a learning curve just to understand how views, statuses, and automations are set up. Additionally, the app can feel sluggish when handling large data sets or nested tasks, which affects speed during high-pressure sprints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClickUp streamlined our workflow and saved hours weekly"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

As an SEO Executive, I love how ClickUp brings everything into one centralized platform. Task management, goal tracking, automations, and documentation are all seamlessly integrated. The customizable Dashboards give me real-time visibility into campaign progress, while the Automations reduce manual work significantly. ClickUp’s Table View and Task Templates help me stay consistent and efficient with recurring projects. Overall, it's the ultimate productivity tool that adapts to my team’s unique workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The initial learning curve can be a bit steep due to the vast number of features. Some new users on my team found it overwhelming at first. Additionally, performance can lag slightly when loading large workspaces or switching views quickly. However, these are minor issues that improve as you become more familiar with the platform and customize it to your workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClickUp is My Go-To for Streamlined Systems and Automation"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp is hands-down the most flexible and powerful project management tool I’ve worked with. As the founder of WRKSTN, I help agencies and creative teams streamline operations—and ClickUp is central to that. The ability to customize everything from task types to automations, combined with tools like dashboards, forms, and now ClickUp Brain, means I can build scalable, efficient systems for any workflow. Plus, I love how fast the platform continues to evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The biggest limitation right now is the lack of subfolders for organizing complex builds. For large projects or multi-client setups, it would be a game-changer. That said, I’ve heard it’s in development, and I appreciate that the team is transparent and always improving based on user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and customizable project management tool"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp is incredibly flexible and customizable, allowing you to manage projects, tasks, and documentation all in one place. The ability to create views like lists, Gantt charts, or Kanban boards is great for adapting to different team needs. The integration with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and Outlook improves productivity, and the automation features help reduce manual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The platform can feel overwhelming at first due to the many features and settings available. Sometimes, the performance slows down with large workspaces or many tasks, especially in the web version. Mobile app usability is still limited compared to the desktop version, and support responses can be delayed during peak hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Who is it for?"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like best about ClickUp is its unparalleled customization and the sheer breadth of features. It's incredibly powerful to be able to tailor almost every aspect of a workspace to fit specific team needs, from custom statuses and fields to a multitude of views like List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt. This flexibility means we can truly adapt the platform to our unique workflows, rather than having to adapt our workflows to the platform. Plus, having everything from task management and time tracking to docs and whiteboards all in one place significantly reduces tool sprawl and makes our team much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

My main dislike about ClickUp stems from its steep learning curve and occasional performance issues. While the extensive features are a major strength, they can also make the initial setup and onboarding process quite overwhelming, especially for new users or smaller teams without a dedicated admin. It takes a significant investment of time to truly understand and optimize your workspace. Additionally, with so much functionality packed in, the platform can sometimes feel a bit slow or sluggish, particularly when navigating large projects or complex views, which can impact the overall user experience. "Clickup changed how I manage my work"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most is how flexible it is. You can literally set it up however you want, whether you’re someone who likes detailed workflows with automation and custom fields, or just a simple task list, Clickup fits. I also love how I can switch views (List, Board, Calendar, etc.) depending on what mood I’m in or what kind of task I’m working on. And the fact that Docs, Goals, and Dashboards are all in one place is a lifesaver. No more switching between 4-5 different apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Honestly, the learning curve is real. When I first started using it, it felt a bit overwhelming, there’s a lot going on. Sometimes the UI feels a bit cluttered or too “feature-heavy” especially if you’re not the type to spend time customizing everything. Also, mobile app experience isn’t as smooth as desktop, it works, but could be faster and more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
