I What I like most about Donorbox is how simple it makes giving—for both the donor and the organization. It’s clean, intuitive, and doesn’t feel intimidating or clunky, which really matters when you’re asking people to support something meaningful.
I love that it’s donor-first: recurring donations are easy, the checkout is smooth, and it works beautifully on mobile. On the backend, it’s just as good—clear reporting, easy setup, and no unnecessary bells and whistles getting in the way.
It feels like Donorbox actually understands nonprofits: transparent pricing, flexible tools, and zero pressure. It quietly does its job well, which is exactly what you want from a donation platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about Donorbox is that while it’s great at the basics, it can feel a bit limited once you want more customization or advanced branding. You sometimes hit a ceiling if you’re trying to create a very specific donor journey or highly tailored experience.
The design options are pretty minimal, so forms can start to look the same unless you put in extra work outside the platform. Some integrations and features also require upgrading, which can feel frustrating when you’re growing and suddenly need tools that aren’t included at the lower tiers.
It’s solid and reliable—but not always as flexible or powerful as you might want if your fundraising gets more complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
