Fan-fucking-tastic, absolutely perfection!

Maybe I should let myself cool off a tad before writing this review.. Nah, I'll dive in while it's HOT. Yes, this book is HOT. If you loved Jesse Ward in This Man or Beneath This Man, I will be astounded if you don't fall fan-crazy in love with him more in This Man Confessed. He's still got his uber controlling (even more-so in ways) attitude and his "Ava, watch your fucking mouth" hang up but in this book, he's absolutely swoonworthy. He's done a lot of growing up and he knows what he wants....a life with Ava and he will do anything to protect what's his.

So, when I started reading this little gem I was a tad.....


But it took absolutely zero time being a tad (or a LOT)....


But, being a totally SPOILER FREE REVIEW.... I must say there was a lot of....


Hold onto your hats ladies, this book delivers a shit-ton of new information. All the Jesse secrets come out and new conflicts arise in their relationship. Rest assured, you will have a VERY difficult time putting this book down. It's rather long (yeah) and I ate up every word. When I was feeling all sweet and mushy from all of their romantic fluff- BAM, a new twist arises, knocking everything off its axis....



This book is a serious rollercoaster ride of emotions and you will love every minute of it!

It captures you from the get-go their love for each other. Jesse's need for Ava is borderline unhealthy. We all remember those missing pills..... no spoilers here.



I almost wish I had done a re-read of the first two books prior to diving into this. The main reason is there isn't a huge recap of previous events so I found myself thinking "Who was Matt...or Dan...What was Ruth Quinn's deal? What was up with Mikhail?" So if you don't remember those characters, do a re-read as they're back in full force!



For the size of the book, the pacing was awesome. It definitely wasn't like you were sitting back bored waiting for the next shoe to drop. It had a fair mixture of heat (more than fair share), suspense, OMFG moments, but in the end, it all ties together and you're left thinking "Why didn't I figure all this out before?" It's a full circle love story with all kinds of twists and turns. It's very hard to review this book as so much happens, I'm not leaking any spoilers. It needs to be experienced and I would refrain from reading a lot of reviews for that fear of those surprises ruining all the fun of it.



The ending is awesome. In fact, the epilogue is in Jesse's POV. Getting in his head was spectacular. Watching their story go full circle was one hell of a ride. This series will rank up there as one of my favorites for sure.

Did Ava make me uber upset at one point in this book? Hell yes, and you will know what I'm referring to when you get there in this book. But even she has grown up tenfolds over time and her unfailing dedication to their functionally dysfunctional relationship is commendable. As hot as Jesse is, his uber controlling borderline arsehole (shout out to Britishisms) nature would send most women for the hills.

So, go forth and enjoy this one. You won't soon forget it.....
