5 STARS ... END OF.







I finally got my hands on 'This man confessed' and i'm still riding on central Jesse cloud nine. I have never been more excited about a release of a book, the story of Jesse and Ava and there unrelenting relationship wraps up in this epic finale and I worshipped every page.

Jodi ellen Malpas goes on my list of favourite authors she has two hugely redeeming qualities, number one: she is gorgeously British and proud of it, delivering (and not apologising for) her wonderful British-isms and number two: she delivered to the world Jesse Ward, a character never to be forgotten and never to be created again, so with all that gushing being said here are my over zealous book thoughts, welcome to 'This man confessed' as seen through my eyes ...

What's it all about ...
Well if you have got to this point and still haven't realised 'This man confessed' is the last book in a trilogy where we are thrown into the world of Jesse Ward and Ava O'Shea. At his point we have been through a myriad of ups and downs to form one hugely epic love story. 'This man confessed' takes right off from its predecessor 'Beneath this man', Jesse and Ava are now taking steps to further their relationship and commitment to each other, the story continues to uncover secrets, future stumbling blocks and more sexual encounters than you could shake a stick at.

What I loved?
To start with I was impressed with the consistency of story, and character development. The author stays true to the original premise and I found her writing continually witty and engaging. I can't deny that the biggest pull for me in this trilogy is Mr Jesse Ward, hands off readers he's MINE, I can't gush or talk favourably enough about this fictional hero, he's as sexy as he is infuriating and I'm more than a little sad to say goodbye. I also loved the drama and suspense of the series, secrets were popping out about the characters right until the end, this author knows how to keep her readers entertained. This book hands, feet and any other body parts that you want to put down has the sweetest, most gorgeous epilogue I've ever read, I left this story with a huge smile and a hankering for more of this authors writing.




Final thoughts ...
The final book in a trilogy is always tinged with a little sadness for me, when you invest in characters and love what an author does to make a story come alive, it is inevitable that the reader wants to savour the last moments. I couldn't have enjoyed this conclusion more, if you haven't started this series ... What are you waiting for jump aboard readers you won't won't to get off central Jesse cloud nine.

With all that laid out on the table, you know I love this series and Mr Jesse Ward our impossible, overbearing, demanding, unreasonable but equally gorgeous, commanding and protective lord of the manor ...
