Reread on March 23- March 25/18

I’m so glad I reread this series in preparation for the new book that is now out! I can’t wait to see what Jesse and Ava have been up to in the last 16 years!!!

I was surprised at how many details I forgot since I’ve read this four years ago! One thing I do remember is the devotion that Jesse and Ava have for each other! Ava finally gets to prove her love several times in this instalment, and I am glad! It always seemed like Jesse cared more and Ava would run away at the sign of trouble. That wasn’t the case in book three!

I could talk all day about this unique couple; but I’m so eager to get to the next book FINALLY!!!!

I loved being back in the crazy world of Jesse and Ava. Once again Jodi Ellen Malpas does not disappoint in creating a masterpiece full of hot sex, lots of drama, and a love that is loyal and true. The relationship of Jesse and Ava may not be normal to our eyes; but it is "their normal." I adore how they came to that conclusion, that they will never be like everyone else, and that is ok because they created their own bliss. The love and need that they have for one another was heart warming in my eyes, especially because I have watched them grow from the beginning of this often times; chaotic journey. The intensity that Jesse and Ave share is off the charts, and holy cow; the sex scenes in this book melt the words right off the pages!!!LOL! This couple darn well know how to make love and f**k on a whole new level then most. They indulge in all sorts of different types of sex again, but my favorite hands down was the new: "sleepy twilight sex."

I was impressed that even though this was the last book, there was still a lot of loose ends that were tied up beautifully and reveals that were brought up right up until the very end. Some of those reveals were jaw dropping to say the least! There is never a dull moment in the world of Jesse and Ava. I will say that there was a point where I wanted to commit a murder with the way Ava was behaving. It was touch and go for awile there, and I swear I became so absorbed in the story and Ava's behaviour that if I could have bodily harmed her; I would have!! I am pleased to say that it took her awhile, but eventually she did smarten up! Thank Goodness for that, as I was about to have a heart attack! LOL

There are only a few books where I become so absorbed in the story that I become so involved my emotions run away on me. This is one of them. I have to say that this was a bittersweet book for me, because I enjoyed it thoroughly-especially getting answers and even closure on a lot of situations. I am truly sad though to have to say goodbye to this unique couple. I will miss Jesse and his controlling,possessive ways. He is a character that I am sure will be very hard to beat.
I loved the epilogue that was done in his POV, and it was five years down the road. It was a pleasant surprise to get a glimpse of their life in the future.
Now with great sadness, I say goodbye to Jessa and Ava; and I wish them nothing but happiness, lots of sleepy sex, good times...and let us not forget...many jars of peanut butter!
