I wish I knew this was a spinoff to another series. It’s really book 5 as far as I can tell, it’s set in the same world with all the same characters. There are 4 couples from the previous books and lots of side characters and backstory with the Ferry and the other characters that I would have loved to have known before starting this.
I haven’t read many demon/angel books - this felt pretty light going, kind of romcomish?? The prologue made me think this was going to be really epic but it was very fluffy.
This was an easy read, although I didn’t love the writing I’m keen to go back and try the first series.
Loved the narrators! They definitely made this much better in my opinion - Will Watts and Dan Calley

Omg Will Watts as a narrator is such a selling point! Do you know if the first series you mentioned is also narrated by him? 😍
@Gaby ooh I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the next one too! Im trying the original series first, it frustrates me when there are so many characters and history they keep referring to that I don’t know
@Pauline yes I found this when I was searching specifically for his audiobooks!! He didn’t do the 4 books in the first series that is Joel Leslie and Dan Calley but he does at least the next one in this series
Noooo why is it always Joel Leslie 😩 if you’ve got any other good Will Watts audiobook tips, let me know ☺️
I’ve got Blindsided by Becca Steele and A market of dreams and Destiny by Trip Galey both narrated by Will Watts waiting on my audible
I remember the same thing lol like feeling so lost at just SO MANY names and then realising it’s cause it’s all attached to the previous series lol I kind of got the same sort of comical vibes as something like the Lucifer TV show

Continue with this series, can’t wait to see your thoughts on the other ones though
