it was amazing

Damn fun! Rounded up from four-plus. Provides introduction to Kurt Wallander and his environs. (Includes crazy right-wing murderers: what could be more apropos?)

Bobby Oh now this looks interesting. I love Nordic crime noir. Remind you of any other series, Tim?

Tim Null I suspect, Bobby, I should have had my wife answer your question since her father was born in Sweden. Plus, she's read lots of Nordic noir novels. I'm a novice in this genre. And I imagine many Nordic crime novels are too dark and deep for my tender heart. That's why I'll probably stick with the Wallander series for now.

Wulf Krueger The Wallander series is brilliant. I will never forget the way Mankell sent his protagonist into the sunset at the end of the series. Read on and find out - I cannot recommend this series highly enough.

Adina ( back from Vacay…slowly recovering) I enjoyed this novel. Feels actual.
