Iris is 99% done

The storyline started so incredibly slow. At the end there were suddenly a few interesting chapters with a number of touching twists in it...

Iris is 75% done

The first part of Dune is one of my all time favorite sci-fi books. I had high expectations for part two. Apart from many political games, very little happens. Very unfortunate.

Iris is 70% done

I find the second part much less impressive than the first part. Everything that happens has a political undertone. In the first part there was much more attention for the world building.

The Political tensions in the Dune universe are escalating.. In fact, the entire storyline is all about politics. Any wrong observation or decision could have a fatal outcome..
