This experience is one I’m sharing for awareness. Years ago, I placed most of my savings into an online platform that appeared stable and well-managed. For a long time, I had no reason to question it.
When I attempted to withdraw my investment, the process stalled. Communication became repetitive, and access to my funds remained uncertain for months.
Eventually, I came across 𝑉͟𝑒͟𝑟͟𝑖͟ 𝑇͟𝑟͟𝑎͟𝑖͟𝑙͟ 𝑖͟𝑛͟𝑡͟𝑒͟𝑙͟ through online discussions. Their guidance was realistic and structured. With patience and documentation, my funds were recovered. The experience emphasized the importance of careful risk assessment.
ridiculously complicated platform for users
I am writing review as a creditor using Transunion services. The service is abominable and they do not fix problems when needed and create a ridiculously complicated multi layered platform and overzealous password controls making access impossible for low volume users. Management need to take a hard look at themselves and fix this.

My problems started when I joined Nat West and completed a credit score which said` fair` whuich was in marked contrast to Experian and Equifax saying it was ` excellent`!
I discovered they held elderly information on there which I challenged and they were reluctant to alter. Despite having an audit trail that proved my information is correct, they are still reducing my credit score.
They haven`t responded to my complaint and now I have flagged it again which will take another 6 weeks.
I`m now going to the Ombudsman to formally complain as I`m aware that when you need credit then there is no guarantee which company will carry out the credit check.

I’ve sent them proof an my water bill are waiting to see what they say as they want proof to why they put it against me when I owe nothing I’m always in credit .

Had one response on day 65 to say that there was no content to my email.

I have never contacted TransUnion nor intend to. My experience with Experian and Equifax is of scores that reflect my long-term stability in maintaining credit accounts. I don't miss or delay payments and the summary information is usually wrong in more than one respect. TransUnion provide poor to fair ratings in contrast to excellent from other agencies. I feel TransUnion are disreputable and should not be able to hold and process personal data. Steer clear of them.

Complained to TransUnion as EDF had put a default on my record. Sent transunion all the information proving without doubt the default was incorrect. They asked EDF who said it was correct. So they took their side. Despite all the evidence showing otherwise.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with TransUnion. Their customer service is slow to respond and not helpful when it comes to resolving credit report errors. I submitted documentation multiple times to correct inaccurate information, but the issue was never properly addressed.
The online dispute process is confusing, and getting a live person to actually explain what’s going on is almost impossible. For a company that handles such sensitive personal and financial information, I expected much better accountability and communication.
Overall, I found the service unreliable and unprofessional. I would strongly advise TransUnion to improve their dispute handling and customer support systems people’s financial reputations depend on it.

Transunion is very outdated and horrible, they connected my sisters bank and mine which is affecting my credit score terribly. I contacted them regarding my credit score and how low it is because of their faults claiming i am not on the electoral register when ive been on it since i was 18. They are completely useless and extremely rude.
⭐ 1 Star – Appalled by the Conduct and Tone
I am absolutely disgusted by the tone and attitude in the email I received this morning from TransUnion. It was curt, defensive, and completely unprofessional.
After formally requesting my statutory credit report under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, TransUnion continue to misstate the law, claiming they have a full month to respond as though this were a general GDPR request. That is not true. HM Treasury have confirmed in writing that failing to provide a statutory credit report is a criminal offence, yet TransUnion have chosen to ignore that and shut down communication entirely.
Their handling of this matter shows total disregard for customer rights and for their own legal obligations. Ending a complaint email by refusing to communicate further while the issue remains unresolved is appalling.
This behaviour raises serious concerns about the company’s professionalism, accuracy, and compliance culture. I have now referred the case to the Information Commissioner’s Office and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
A company dealing with personal data should act with integrity and respect. TransUnion have done neither.

Terrible service. It has added CCJs onto my account that aren’t even my name. When I try to dispute they tell me to find the person myself and ask them to write in to take the CCJs off me. Who would do that? This woman will just be happy they aren’t on her name.
Experian give me a score of 999/999 and I’m happy with that. TransUnion give me a low pathetic score and attach other people’s CCJs to me. I can see by all the other ratings that people don’t seem too keen on there. Especially getting in contact with them. It’s a joke!!!

How are these sc*mbags allowed to do what they do? Suddenly out of nowhere a default for o2 appeared on my credit score! Over £459! Who can rack up a mobile bill that aize these days when every contract comes with unlimited data roaming and minutes and texts! Tried disputing but TransUnion refused as they said theres no crime ref (?) wtf! Even if someone had used my details how would I have known as I only saw the default to day! If i was desperate I could never use o2 as the network never ever works within 20miles of here. 3 is the only network that gets a signal. I am furious theres no way of contacting Transunion without giving personal details on a long winded form which I will not do and here’s why.. did that a couple of years ago and within days had all these trying their luck debt people writing and calling.. all of the debts were unknown to anyone in this household. Also Transunion pass your details on to all these companies like Lowell and Moorcroft causing even more hassle. I am NOT showing wither my Spanish or UK passport to this company to prove who I am and o2 can shove it up their a$$.
NEVER TRUST TRANSUNION. It sickens me they are in charge of our credit financial system and get it wrong. Who do they think they are.
