I made a booking through Casamundo and…

I made a booking through Casamundo and realized within minutes that I had entered the wrong dates. I immediately contacted customer support asking either to correct the dates or to cancel the booking.

Although the booking was marked as non-refundable, the service had not started, was not used, and was cancelled right away to free the dates for other guests.

What followed was weeks of contradictory communication. First, I was told no refund was possible. Then I was told they were waiting for the partner (Novasol). Later, Novasol confirmed that according to their terms, a refund within 24 hours should have been possible. Despite this, Casamundo continued shifting responsibility back and forth.After a long delay and no resolution, I had to initiate a chargeback through my bank to recover €1,359. The chargeback was eventually decided in my favor.

This experience showed a lack of accountability, transparency, and consistent communication. I would strongly advise future customers to avoid this company.

Health hazards: Mould in bathrooms and a total nightmare for 500€ a night and nobody cares.

First time booking through Casamundo and we are totally shocked that such incredibly inferior customer service is possible today.

In particular at a premium price for over 500€ a night for an appartment!

Here is our detailed and totally objective review:
1. the appartment cost over 700€ less at booking.com for the same time. Our fault as we only noticed after booking with Casamundo but goes to show how fair the pricing is at Casamundo. A total ripoff!

2. The owner did not care and answer to our complaints. He just simply vanished when we told him about the problems and the high price via Casamundo. No efforts whatsoever.

3. Mould in the bathroom, which is a health hazard! Completely unacceptable, especially as we had someone with asthma with us. Noboday at Casamundo cared or made an offer for a different venue. Neither did the owner care.

4. Unfinished bathroom: the smaller bathroom was not finished and was very unattractive and unclean.

5. The door to the smaller bathroom is difficult to close, is very loud and rubs against the floor. A nuisance every night!

6. No working heating in the smaller bathroom.

7. Defective heating knob in the first bedroom.

8. Many areas that are not attractive or finished to a high standard. E.g. the wooden floor at the windows had water stains and no lacquer anymore. Does not meet the standard expected for this price!

9. The door between the living room and bedrooms cannot be closed.

10. The lighting in the kitchen is very dim – not suitable for cooking/cutting.

11. Old oil and food in the kitchen that had not been disposed of.

12. Many dirty glasses.

13. Old and partly non-functional or worn kitchen utensils.

14. The stairs to the sea are closed, which is not mentioned in the description. You have to walk about 15 minutes to reach the waterfront.

Overall, despite the size and great view, a very unpleasant experience both with Casamundo - through which we will of course never book again - and the owner who didnt answer to our complaints and never tried to make good for the problems.

Unbelievable.

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud. Don't waste your money on it. They don't really have any houses.
They just want your money, and you'll never get it back.

Very bad experience|No actions from Casamundo|Law suit filed

We booked a house in Spain in Febraury '25. Casamundo could not supply us with the adress or contact of the owner so we would know where to travel to - even until the last day. What they did though - is to cash in the €7000 without responding to any mail or call from our side. We got some money back through PayPal but we still need to fight for huge amount. We booked on another platform and got what we needed. After our holiday we will take legal actions along with other customers that had the same issue.

Nice Village

Nice Village, great Nature...
Nice People and very helpful.
If you want to buy more food and to have a great selection better Drive to Gospic.
In Karlobag are also some Shops.
It was a very good time there, two Weeks.

Good and easy

In general good and easy process, I experienced some lags and slow response of the site.
The offer itself is very good, the search by map could be improved (some places only show up when you scroll bigger etc.). I'd appreciate more information about the various areas, like places of interest or distances to interesting locations/sights.
