Terrible support

I ordered my litter box January 29, 2025. I loved it for the first few months until it stopped working properly. At first, I could fix it by resetting it or by unplugging it then plugging back in but eventually nothing worked and it would do nothing at all although all the lights were lit up. I tried the help videos with no success. I finally called the support number on January 26, 2025 (had to call several times as there was no answer nor any opportunity to leave a message) and spoke with woman who asked for the Amazon order number, which I gave her, and she said I would get an email with further instructions. When I didn’t receive an email I called back the next day and spoke with the same woman who again asked for the order number etc, and again said I would get an email. I still haven’t heard anything.

Not worth the money

**Update** I made contact with Jerry per his request below. I provided all documentation from April, May and June when I left my review on Amazon. Despite everything that I provided, i was informed that there is nothing that can be done since it was 3 days past the 1 year warranty when we finally made contact which he knew from my original review below and likely the only reason any “effort” was made. No effort was made in June when i left my review on Amazon which they had removed.

I purchased my Cumrige litter box Dec 24, 2024 and by beginning of June it stopped working. It continually shows “bottom infrared anti-pinch triggered!”. I followed all the videos on amazon to fix this. Completely took it apart and could not resolve the issue. It is impossible to reach the company from the app or amazon so I wrote a bad review on amazon which was later removed and i was never contacted. I spent almost $300 for this to only work a few short months. I only have one cat and the whole thing was taken apart and cleaned biweekly.

Second, before I contacted you, I had no access to or prior knowledge of your email address, order history, or warranty status. I reached out only after seeing your Trustpilot review, with the sole intention of understanding the situation and supporting you as a customer—not to enforce policies or deny assistance.

For Amazon purchases, after-sales support must be initiated through Amazon customer service or the Amazon seller support channel during the warranty period. After reviewing this case with our Amazon after-sales team, no service request or contact record was found under your email during the active warranty period. By the time I became aware of the issue, the one-year warranty had already expired.

This is not an attempt to avoid responsibility or exploit policy timing. Our goal has always been to serve customers fairly, protect customer rights, and resolve issues whenever possible within platform policies and warranty terms. I genuinely regret that your experience was frustrating, and I appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Excellent product and customer service

Excellent product and customer service. This liter box is a life saver. A multi cat family here with no worries of smell or daily cleaning. App is easy to use and is used remotely while away. Love it and would never go back to traditional.

Order came in as promised.Unit is amazing. One complaint, when using my credit card and debit card all sorts of red flag alerts came up from my banks.

Company stood behind its warranty

Update (10/27/25): I was able to communicate directly with the company and they gave me several different options to try to fix the problem; none worked which was disappointing. They kept in constant contact with me. They made good on their promise of a 1 year warranty and just sent me the shipping tracking information for a new automatic cat litter box. I am impressed with how they honored their warranty.

I purchased this self-cleaning cat litter box from Cumrige in April 2025. Everything was going great until the end of August when it stopped working (would not “clean”, only completely dump all of the litter for a full clean and then get stuck open, causing a potential unsafe situation for my cats. I’ve tried everything to troubleshoot the issue, but without success. My biggest issue is there NO customer service/support information listed anywhere on the paperwork. I tried to email via Amazon and it was returned, saying Cumrige was no longer part of their store (despite their product still being sold on Amazon). When I purchased this product I was sent a one year warranty, guaranteeing repair or replacement…great!!! But…how do I reach someone to actually get help? I’ve been dealing with this quandary for almost two months. (PS, I loved the product before it stopped working, but the biggest downside is not being provided access to customer support!!!!). I feel scammed.

Auto cleaner feature stopped working

I have a Cumrige cat litter cleaner for over 2 months. The auto cleaner process stopped functioning. No trouble shooting info on how to repair so now I have to push the clean button manually.
