A pleasant customer experience

I had a pleasant experience with customer service. I was trying to figure out what to do with my internet contract & service because of changing address.

I called customer service & requested for support in English. I received a call back with-in about 30 minutes. I was able to express what I needed and I received great help. I must say both the German (the one I spoke to first to request a call back) & English speaking service personnel were patient, polite and helpful.

Entega rip-off

The most unbelievable thing is that they do not stop. It is not possible that an apartment uses 40% more electricity when it is empty and only the refrigerator is running. They claimed we never provided meter readings and today, after my Trustpilot review was shared the acknowledge that on 11 June 2024 they received the readings. Since September 2024 the apartment is empty. Happy to pay for what I use, but protest a complete rip-off. Good that Trustpilot exists, stay away from Entega.
Ps yes getting a contract with them is smooth, then it will become one untransparent mess.

We understand your complaint about the additional payment in your current bill. As already explained, your electricity consumption had to be calculated based on partially estimated meter readings in the past.

We kindly remind you of your obligation to cooperate in determining your meter readings on time. ENTEGA calculates meter readings based on the Basic Supply Ordinance (GVV) if they were not submitted by the due date. This ensures that you receive your bill on time.

Your consumption was probably already higher than your payments in previous years. The resulting costs must now be paid with the current bill.
