In 2024, hired Floodman to grade our private gravel road once each summer. I was satisfied with the price, quality of the work, and responsiveness.

However, the following year, they provided a quote that was 300% more than the first year. When I asked for more information regarding the planned work, I never received any response. After numerous emails, phone calls and texts, I was finally told they were too busy (with work from recent severe weather in the area) and could not do my project until the fall - obviously way to late for a spring/summer road grading.

What started off as a promising relationship was ruined by their apparent lack of concern for their existing, repeat customers. I moved on from Floodman, and would not recommend.

They said they could put in a crushed concrete driveway and all they did was lay out pea gravel. They will not return my mother's call. They took advantage of an elderly woman. Awful....

The Floodman team made it to our place within two hours of being called. 6 people and just as many fans. Was it expensive? Yes. Could it have been a lot worse??!? ABSOLUTELY! Without the Floodman team we would have had to remove weeks of mold buildup and damage. After several days of fans and professional service, our basement is dry and we have a plan of action, which will be significant, but not as much as if they didn’t respond so quickly. They were in regular communication and very specific in their actions. We are strongly impressed and 1000 percent recommend them!

Our family has needed the services of Floodman twice in the last several years due to water damage in our home. Both times Erich and the Floodman crew responded quickly and skillfully to mitigate the situation and helped see the project through to completion. They also worked with the insurance company to make sure that everything got done the way it needed to be and to our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend calling them first if you are in the unfortunate situation of having unwanted water in your home!

Eric and his crew did a great job. They did what they said they would and were careful and polite in the process.

They answered all my questions (and I had MANY) over the course of several weeks as I researched this company and explored their competitor's offerings. They explained things to me in layman's terms. No talking down to me. No heavy sales pitch. They explained their product and service without disparaging their competitors, which, in my opinion, shows respect and utmost professionalism.

When I had problems locating a generator and a contractor to install it (supply chain issues etc.) they stepped up and found a reputable contractor for me.

My property is not local to this company's hometown, yet they scheduled me in quickly. I did not have to wait for more jobs in my area so they could capitalize on their travel. They came when they said they would. The workers were friendly, professional and appeared to be hard-working at all times. They finished the job when they said they would and I was very pleased with the final product.

The spring thaw in my area was not a problem; my crawl was dry. I would highly recommend this company.

My husband and I were beyond happy with the services provided by Floodman.

They braced our foundation with a Waler wall support system . Installed a drainage system with a sump pump, and a commercial dehumidifier .
Removed our concrete porch top and sealed it. Along with leveling our basement floor with concrete.
Not two days later we had a serious downpour, no water in at all.
They have great communication and got the job done.

Floodman did a Fantastic job on our Basement system, and Mold work. The high water levels in our area wreaked havoc on our home so we had to do something not knowing what the future holds with Northern Michigan's weather. Brad & Erich explained everything and their crew came and did the work. No more smell, everything is dry, and they also honored their warranty when a part went bad. If you need this kind of work, I definitely recommend them.

Erich and Brad came out the same day we called, professionally addressed the issue and provided a quote. The next day the Floodman team arrived on time, protected the non-affected area of our home and completed the remediation in a logical, safe and timely manner. Erich and Brad followed-up the next day with a reassessment of the issue and we were confident the issue was resolved. Excellent work.
